Explain the 4x4 system to me I know 4 hi and 4 low, what are the other two 1 being squigly I think is stabili lok and is the other one rear differential lok?

Do you need to place the H3 in neutral b4 putting in 4 low?

one is stabilitrak, don't worry about that one. If you are slipping in the rain or snow it will kind of cut power to keep you from spinning out. It could be helpful in snow or certain situations, but really don't worry about that one much.

The other one is rear locker. See the picture below -- if you don't have the rear locker engaged, the engine will still try to send power to a wheel off the ground, why do you need a power to a wheel that is not getting any traction. So this button will "lock" the wheel that is getting transaction and only put power to that wheel. That is my un technical take on it. You want to turn this off when turning wide (it makes it easier) lockers like to go straight. You can turn off without changing gears but like you said you have to be in neutral to put in 4 low.

Also, you can't use locker without being in 4 low. Locker is really used for pretty tuff off-road circumstances.

Also, one other note. It is just not important or necessary to be in neutral when you switch to 4 low but going less then 2-3 miles per hour. Don't roll down a hill fast and try to pop it in 4 low.

Do however use 4 low down a steep hill and the hummer will just about drive itself down, (with its super low gears) hardly any braking is needed. Fun stuff! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif See the second picture for that.
