Just got a message from Jim Jackson , President of ARB-USA and he informed me that they have no plans of making a snorkel for our vehicles. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif That really sucks

And you were really going to drive in deep water anyway.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
You should really find out what happens when your fan blades hit water before you get any hot ideas about deep water crossings.

It already has basically all the snorkel you need. If you you didnt already know the air box is routed through the fender back to the firewall and the the air intake is one of the simulated shock covers if you look you will see the holes in it , the drivers side is the vent for the battery box. if you look closer with the hood up you will see that the air intake is higher than the on board computer, that is mounted on the firewall in the similar location, this makes having a snorkel a mute point.

Deep water of not it just looks cool. I had one on my 2000 Disco. I crossed a large water puddle (at least 3 inches deep) on my way to Vancouver, WA. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Crossing deep water is not my only reason for purchasing one, I do like the look it gives and it is another means of cold air intake.

The air is taken from the entire fender well. Open the passinger door and look into the fender. The engine gets its air from this space.
