I consider this a very informative site. I learn a lot that dealers, and even other owners don't know. There's a disturbing aspect to this site though, and that's the complete lack of civility. No one minds a little ribbing, nudging, chain yanking. That kind of adds the spice of life. What disturbs me, and is running people off that would be a huge asset to this forum is the juvenile attacks and name calling. The big picture of this forum is beginning to take on the appearance of a bunch thirteen year olds yelling at each other at a skate park.

Is this the world you want to live in? Is this how you want people to view you? Not everyone here is that way, so if you're not, there's no reason to get ruffled. If you DO take offense to this, well, it's your forum too, just figure that you get what you put into it.

I seriously doubt that the potty mouth kiddies around here are that way in real life, they couldn't afford the dental bills or loneliness that would ensue.

I quit reading and posting on the MiniUSA forums because it was clearly populated, for the most part, radical left winged nut jobs that were very pious about driving a small car and how messed up SUV owners were. The barrage was constant. The sexual content was constant too. It was evident to me that there were too many young'uns that hadn't seen a boob, or were such social outcast that they were never really likely to either because that's all they ever talked about. Their vocabulary was stunted also because they wrote like sixth graders f that and the like. Yawn.... Towering intellects they were not.

So, wanna attack, be a cyber snot, be a name calling twit, go ahead. You'll certainly be in the company of like kind.

Yup, I can leave. If the kids don't calm down, it's likely. I'm not the only one I bet.

Huck........these types of "mission statements" generally go over like a turd in a punchbowl. A lot of the folks that get railed out of the forum are troll like in both information and stature. they deserve it.

just from my observations.

EVERY single person that gets ribbed and takes it in the context it was meant gets along fine with everyone here. The people with no back bones are the one's that run off.

Which are you?

Here's a link to my favorite example, H2Finally, a very well respected member of this forum took it on the chin when he came here because of this thread:

Honestly, this site was around for years before you (or I, for that matter) joined. WTF gives you the right to try to mandate what goes on here.

If you can't take it, then maybe it would be best if you left. Personally, my advice would be to sack up and quit your whining.

It's ok. That's why it's called an internet "community". There are all types of personalities. Like any community, though, people can come and go as they like.

Give me a ****ing break! Take the stick out of your ass and have a little fun.

Don't you think it's ironic that you bash the people on your other stupid forum for not acting the way you like and now want to bash others on THIS forum for acting a different way?

By the way, I don't act the same way in a business meeting as I do when playing with my 4 year old. So why is it something that people "act" differently here. If you don't like the venue, change the channel.

WOW- what a bunch of asses on this site!

Huck has every right to his opinion and should feel free to post without being verbally assaulted (just the thing he was talking about)

For the most part what he says is true- this site should be about HUMMERS- not personal attacks, porn or idiotic ramblings. There are plenty of other sites that for that ****.

Here we go again.............

my 2 cents (well actually .01),,,,,

i remember reading a post "ryans story" or something which talked about how a guys son loved the hummers so much and when he finally bought one his son went nuts. my son, he is 4. he also loves the hummer i bought. heres where i am trying to go....i look at it this way, the hummer to me is a way of in some sorts being different. not conforming to what others may think is correct. its kind of like a way for me to not really "grow up". when driving it i feel like a kid again. it feels good.

same way i feel when on this site. its fun. yes, i do and have learned a lot but it is also fun. a way to unwind with others who maybe dont want to grow up. all day long i have to conform in the office. but when the days done, i get in my hummer and forget about "conforming" and can be a "kid". this site has been a blast for me. hell, my son loves it as well. just take it for what it is. if you dont like it, go to another site. but PLEASE, do not try and make members who wish to be here and who like the status quo to conform to what you think this site SHOULD be.....

just my 1.5 cents worth...please be gentle drty http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

It looks like yet another Thought-Nazi has surfaced. There’s always someone who (after they are offended by something they see, hear or read) feels the compulsion to curtail whatever has insulted them. It never fails that this is inevitably done in the name of the greater good of the majority.

I've learned more things about my H3 on this site than in the owners manual. Without Fstop's technical knowledge I would have **&$%&^ed at the door panels taking them off to Dynamat, because of the hidden screw by the door lever. The Hummer evokes strong responses from people, the H2 owners I'm sure take a lot more than we do because they are larger and more in your face styling wise than the H3. What gets me is a lot of tree huggers drive machines made overseas and say very little about taking jobs away from Americans. I think everyone on this board has been insulted in some way once or twice - take the source into consideration, remember Dan Rather & Peter Jennings, probably 14 years old, and some people are just frustrated Hummer Wannabes.
Hummer drivers like going offroad in much higher percentage than any other SUVs - that's the way we are.

There is another point here . You complain about how Hummer is viewed by public such as in the Canada thread .

You dont think your own actions on a Hummer board helps set the tone ?

I make use of several boards , iv found he who knows the least runs there mouth the most .

I notice f5 is no smart allick on the baord yet has the most knowledge that i have seen . Get the point !

Iv also noticed if you dont agree with every thing then your punced on with names and acusations that are unfounded . Great sign of intelect

Ken P. it doesn't take a backbone to be on a forum. You write of respect as if that word can be associated with a bunch of uncivil rantings on a forum. That's pretty amusing.

Zig, you're a real wordsmith.

Dan, it ain't about the whining, it's about someone offering some friendly advice. If it takes sack to be bored to tears by endless name calling and personal attacks, I must be a gelding.

Neo, gettin' messed with isn't what I'm talking about, no one's really landed hard on me yet at all so this isn't about thin skin on my part. What I've seen people write to and about other people is a pitiful statement on who they are. You for instance come off as just as you say, having fun, and lots of it, a great read every time. The bores that just hammer the crap out of people every time they get a chance are what I'm talking about.

CO Hummer, you really don't think I crave your acceptance do you?

Darth, it's not about thought, it's about the demonstrated lack of it. Again, no one insulted me, I'm just tired of having to mow through miles of the kiddie crap to get to the useful stuff here. It's not very entertaining after the billionth dork post.

MarineHawk, you're actually funny, sarcasm's a useful tool.

HummerJim, that's some good advice. I don't understand how the offroad thing correlates into liking what's going on here, but I get your drift.

Humrchic, you get it completely! Maybe Clinton's surgeon general had it right about some people needing to learn how to masturbate eh?

Grandman, I really hope you don't go. it'd be a bad day for the H3 forum if you did.

Sewie, you don't need to look far if that stuff entertains you. It's pretty rampant. If you really want to be entertained, check out the H3 chatroom. You wanna talk about offroading, forgeddaboudit. You wanna talk about H3s, forgeddaboudit. The definitely misnamed that chat room when they called it the H3 chatroom.

Anyhow, I'll really feel super bad if you guys don't like me, and my feelings will be hurt so bad, I'll be so lost without your acceptance.... WHOOYA!

Who's got the thin skin anyway?

Translation: LOOK AT ME!!!!

Excellent! An intelligent troll! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif (And when I said "troll" I mean it in the most positive -- as in "one who brings entertainment" way http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif)

And that folk, is exactly it. E N T E R T A I N M E N T http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

If you want info, facts, tips, install instructions, use the "FIND" button. I guarantee you, your question has been asked and asnwered at least a dozen times before in the past 3 years. Why? Because the H2 didn't change (materially) in 3 years. (Fact: the post Ken mentioned of my 'initiation', was the last original, previously-unasked H2 question http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif)

Of course the H3 is different, but that's why everyone is kow-towing to F5Stop and others, for doing a great job of providing current and accurate info.

The rest of the time, this fine forum has become a real, living, honest, and most importantly imho, THE FUNNEST Hummer community in this world! (Thanks Jason! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif)

The question then, is why? Why do other Hummer forums seemed so dead, sterile, and down-right boring? The answer is because here, we have the... "potty mouth kiddies" who BOTHERED enough to invest hours and hours of their time to... POST -- period!!

You're right, this is your forum too. But remember, ask not what your (forum) can give to you, but what you can give to your (forum)... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

How could anyone take your concerns seriously, if you yourself have NOT demonstrated that same generosity of your valuable time and effort, to be informative (check these "cyber snots" PAST posts if you doubt me), defensive (were you around when OTN or JU trolls were here attacking Hummers?), and most importantly (again) ENTERTAINING! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

All for no money, nor for that matter, a simple thank you! Hell, if this forum was on TV, these fine folks would be raking in millions for providing reality-TV content! (Paul Sr of Orange County Chopper, anyone?).

In summary, do remember these simple facts:

1. The forum is for ENTERTAINMENT http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
2. GIVE (noobs, substitute "use FIND" http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif) before you ASK http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
3. FREEDOM of speech is your constitutional right http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif
4. If your nice allatime, you're boring & a loser and NO ONE WILL LIKE YOU http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

So in the end, I just wanna say to all the 'ol timers (and those with at least 1,000 posts http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif)...
THANK YOU!! from the bottom of my entertained heart! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

That's an interesting turn of the worm if I've ever seen one, I'm serious, that IS entertaining.

Attention whore, really, looking back, you guys in particular are killin' me, really, stop, it's just too much! Oh God, somebody get me a respirator, I'm gonna pass out. YOU guys calling me an attention whore?!?!? And I thought you weren't funny. Man, I've gotta start wearing depends!

Smart, er, Alec, at least the other guys came up with an attempt at funny graphics they cut and pasted from their forum arsenal, long wordy responses, put a little effort into it. You illustrate my point quite well. Wipe your chin when you're done. (see, I can be funny too!)

H2 Finally, I think I did miss the boat here. I really thought that general topic forums would be that, and the H3 forum would be something else. Perhaps, just maybe, I need to go to one of the new schools, and learn how to read so that I can just figure this all out. So even though one utilizes search, and trys to find, one STILL has to wade through volumes of inanity to get something useful.

Back to my main point, and it's pretty well confirmed, this forum's got 5% to do with Hummer H3s, and 95% to do with special education, I mean special interest people. It seems to me, that immature, juvenile rants (my two short posts are considered rants while others have THOUSANDS of posts saying NOTHING) are being considered entertainment.

Ok, I'll bite, what's entertaining about the hacking, name calling, lewdness and rudeness? For something to be entertaining to me, it has to be well thought out, informative, have some value to it, otherwise, it's about as fun, satisfying, and nutritional as tofu flavored bubblegum.

I've seen posters on here offer zero value, all they do is check in (obviously 80 times a day) to see if it's time to call someone a name, tell them to **** off, autofellate on the forum so that someone thinks they're cute, ANYTHING but talk about H3s! They say that anyone that doesn't like it has thin skin. When they read something that doesn't fit in with their party hearty, be like us or **** off attitude, piss on you view of the world, that they're thin skinned and narrow minded.

I repeat, who's thin skinned? Who doesn't want anyone else to speak? Who wants everyone else in the world to think just like they do?

I think I understand.

Huck, if you don't see how random posts of complete strangers in an internet forum about trucks, can cause such e-enragement to normally sane & mature successful adults who can afford Hummers, as entertaining, then, clearly you don't get it http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif.

Too, rarely does the hackling started without cause (not saying never, but rare). If you care to follow it to the beginning, most are started as some idiotic comment -- answered as such, and continued in an escalating spiral of funnay. Or other times, they are often of some noobs who decided to take personal affront to the "noob-hazing", and sadly ending up crashing and burning. Then again, if YOU spent as much time here as those who call this forum home, you'd already know that http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif.

Ok dokee H2Finally, I do take your point. I'll just read for awhile, maybe I'll understand this counter culture. It certainly is new to me, I've never witnessed people acting this way, it's all new to me.

sane & mature successful adults who can afford Hummers,

Well if your driving an H 2 that may apply to you , this is the H3 section so affording an H3 is not really a point giving there pricing .

Mature ? some are , did you read the post on ages ?

The H3 is by no means an expensive vehicle but with an average cost of purchase being $35K and up, they are not exactly cheap either. You have to have a decent job/income to really be able to afford one so I wouldn't say the statement doesn't apply.

I saw a Hummer internal marketing DVD, presented prior to the launch of the H3.
It had some interesting demographics, based upon Hummer's marketing research. Compared to H1 and H2 buyers, H3 buyers were forecast to be:
1. Better educated; at least 33% college graduates vs. 15% college graduate H1 and H2 buyers.
2. More self-assured, as opposed to caring what others think and status conscious.
3. Comfortable, yet lower income than H1/H2 buyers.
4. Younger and many more females.
5. More concerned with value for the dollar.
I had just traded my H3, for an H2 SUT, when I saw the DVD. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_redface.gif Needless to say, I wasn't happy that research revealed that I'm most likely a poorly educated, older male, with low self-esteem, and more money than sense. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

Hence, in this collaboration of individuals- you appear shocked that their gathering place is fun and entertaining. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

I really didn't think much of this thread until I was helping my 14 year old God daughter with her geometry while browzing the Elcova H3 forum photo section of this site, looking for add-ons (like the XTC light bar)for my new black H3.It was then I noticed her peering over to see what I was doing and she commented on the H3 rims in a photo. It was then it really hit home that avitars showing flames shooting out of a woman's butt and cartoons of a woman's bust flopping around, etc. is not the kind of thing I would be comfy with in a family setting or even my kind of friends. It just had not occurred to me until that moment that this site will be something I will have to hide from people and friends in order to get needed information from other actual H3 users. But if this is what the majority wants and approves of I guess I'll have to respect that. I am a newbee here and really need the info on what is a practical self-install and what is not, and I have yet to come across an H3 site with people as knowledgeable as some of you are. Don't be upset; I don't expect the exotic avitars to dissappear, but felt I should give my honest opinion. Like it was forstated; no one is twisting my arm to be here. It is my choice until I decide to move on.

Bill, I think you put it how others that have complained should have put it. You have not tried to impose what you want to see or not to see on everyone else on here. You are simply voicing your observation on it and not asking for any kind of change. If I had children around I would be careful of what I looked at on here when they were around but I don't so not worries. Now if your friends would be upset by it but you never really noticed, are they really good friends with such different view that you have to hide this site from them. Not questioning your friendships or choices in friends, just asking a question.

Yea the flaming butt picture is cool. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Oops I mean not good family entertainment. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

The reality is that very little of this forum resembles the true Hummer world or reflects the typical Hummer owner. But it's still sometimes amusing and helpful.

Guess what I'm really trying to say it was a bit of a wake up call to me, and as you say; certainly I will have to be more careful. My friends are the kind of friends I really want. It's not so much an idea to upset them as much as giving them a misleading impression about me, when all I really want is the know how to install a light bar. I really don't know how else to explain it, but I hope you get my drift.

Are you the one with the flaming butt/bewbie avatar? Then why would your friends get the wrong idea? This is a forum populated by adults (mostly http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif) who express themselves in different ways. Their actions are not a reflection on you.

If the images are really an issue for you, then turn them off.

I would be embarrassed to have people think I was viewing vulgar pics, in the presence of a 14 year old. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

Of course it wouldn't shock a 14 year old, but it's not his kid, it's his God daughter.

Go borrow your neighbors kid and show him tits and ass and see what his parents have to say to you!

What world do you live in and don't you think that same 14 year old is saying words like **** with her friends in school?

So, if 14 year olds have sex, with each other, you believe that adults ( over 18 yoa, by law ) are allowed to have sex with them?
Try it. In MD, you face life imprisonment, even if the 14 year old consented.

It's not shock factor, it's parents not wanting their kids exposed to such things especially by other people. Would you have a problem sending your daughter over to your brothers house and having your brother show her pictures of tits and boobs?

If not that's messed up....

This is absurd!

How the hell do you relate statutory rape with a kid seeing no more than what they see on MTV or Beavis and Butthead?

To suggest that what goes on here is somehow criminal is, in and of itself, criminal. To twist things into a soap box standing spew of nonsense is ridiculous. You are the ones that should be ashamed of yourselves, if you truly feel that the avatars and crap here are so damning. It's your irresponsibility to continue posting and/or viewing post here under the guise of getting information for your vehicle.

I've heard that rationale before. Of course, I was defending a pedophile. You are an idiot and should be disbarred if you "espouse" that anything written here somehow condones criminal behavior. Using your logic, a person that's watching an R-rated movie when a 14 year old walks into the room should be prosecuted as a pedophile.

This is NOT a forum for 14 year olds. Girl or boy. In fact, I recall a time when a young person registered and asked questions, and just about everyone here chased the kid away.

Walcy walcy walcy... You disappoint me my friend. You know you have no right to say the things you have about Paragon. He is more than able to fend for himself however so I will leave it at that.

Personally this whole damn country is a bit too uptight anymore, let alone this one forum. The net is not always a place for children as I'm sure 99% of people with half a brain should know. As far as avatars are concerned I've seen more graphic pictures on TLC at 5pm on a Tuesday.

Forcing a child to look at nudity is wrong, no doubt. There was no nudity and the child was not forced to view it.

If you really think about it a mother or father could be watching tv with a child and flick through channels at almost any given time and come upon graphic material just the same as can happen online anywhere at any given time. In that respect just change the channel or close the web page. **** happens.

The bottom line is...this isn't a family friendly website (and there is no reason for it to be) and one person realized that and mentioned it after noticing "questionable" content in the presence of his god daughter.

Forcing is definately wrong, exposing is also wrong IMO. Again, especially if it's not your child. I don't find it to be my right to deceide wether certain "questionable" content is appropriate for my nephews.

While I have absolutely no problems with this forum, because I apparently am not in the same situation as the original poster (on this particular part of the thread), I do understand where he is coming from. And would not consider this a site for browsing with the nephew. But luckily for me my nephews are only interested in nickjr.com, so I have it easy. :P

As far as I am concerned the "incident" was my fault. I was not thinking with the kid in the room because I was too busy with my own agenda; new wheels and an outrageously over priced ITC light bar. That little episode was a reality check to re-evaluate my priorities. Sure, I hope she did not notice the avitars. I am not worried though. I know kids these days are not totally naive to such things, and she remains a loving child. We had a little tickle fight before she left.

Now I know of many other sites containing other subjects that are full of people enjoying their stuff, whether it be laptops, cameras or motorcycles without the exotic avitars. So making a claim that such a website without such avitars if as "boring as a manual" to me seems more than a little far fetched.

So what was I really trying to say here? Is it okay to willingly show such avitars to kids? I think not, but rather, what sort of self image do I want to portray to others? Should I care if an adult or child misinterprets my character? Call me up tight if you want; call my friends up tight, as was already done; but I suggest that it's only the way you look at things from your perspective; I happen to be looking with a different perspective; what is uptight to you is a good thing to me and others like me. My perspective in a nutshell is this; I happen to care if what I do involves and affects those that matter to me as well as their opinion of me. If caring in such a way is a crime then I am guilty. If my friends and I seem to live in a strange way to you it's Ok. What is more important is that I am happy with our "uptight" way of life. My opinion is if the world were just a little more "uptight" it would be a better place... but that's only my uptight perspective. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

It is the belief today that kids can be so easily traumatized but I find it extraordinary how resilient they actually are. I think we adults are the ones offended and hurt over some things much more than the children. I think your dad's perspective was one he was OK with, just as you are OK with it. Those pics were intended for him and those like him. He may have even thought it appropriate to allow you to see them to keep you on the heterosexual path of men. This I suppose was common enough back in the day. I remember my old man remarking over certain women in a sensual way to me. I felt kinda awkward but whatever. I never faulted him for it.

The fact remains that I am not this childs actual father and have no right to allow such things, even inadvertently.

Here's hoping that the 3rd time is the charm.

By the way, it never fails that the censorship mob always hides behind the banter of the "save the children" theme.

The thought-nazis take the view that other people are not to be trusted with freedom of choice or speech, and that it is their duty to act as moral guardians for society. Their excuse (and that's all it is, an excuse) to impose their lowest common denominator views is that it's only to "save the children." How many time have you heard this sorry ass excuse as a pretense for censorship?

We need to save the children from: (here you get to pick)
1) guns
2) SUVs
3) tobacco
4) fast food
5) evolution
6) violence on TV
7) "The Catcher in the Rye"
8) George Carlin
9) OR WHATEVER THE F*CK OFFENDS YOU

If you want to impose your perspective on the rest of us, at least have the balls to stop hiding behind the moral shield of “I’m just doing it for the children.”

Here’s my perspective: If you don’t like want you see or read...then don’t look at it or don’t read it! And whenever you hear someone say there ought to be something done to “save the children” its time to open your eyes and call bullsh*t.

Hmmm...Never said I didn't like what I read or saw here. Don't know where that came from. I can overlook many things, but my God daughter is a different matter. So in this case I am guilty again; of "doing it for the children" like you said.
Didn't intend to control anyones thoughts on the matter though with a simple observation about kids though.

Sorry if you take me for a thought nazi. That honestly was not my intention. Just trying to fit in. But if you guys just don't want me here I would appreciate some honesty about it. I will understand.

Here we go again. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Just for the record-

No female on this forum has ever complained about it's contents.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

In fact, I believe we have never had a complaint until the H3 section came along. Not saying that all H3er's are nazis, just an observation that you have many resident cockblocks.

Bill1065, you were supposed to be helping with geometry. If I were the girl or the parents I would think not only are you a complete pervert but neglectful in her quest to help her with homework.

Walc- omg give it a rest. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

Most car forums are synonymous in the fact that they have women depicted as objects or conversation. In fact, car enthusiasm has always been synonymous in the fact that they have women depicted as objects or conversation. The calenders, pictures, ads and models alongside beautiful machines is, has been and always will be a part of our culture. Did any of you uptight fellas protest the lingerie bowl at halftime or the cheerleaders at any professional game for that matter?

The internet is a place for access to everything. Think of this forum as access to a garage with a bunch of men standing around- Bill1065, would you bring your god daughter to that garage to help her with her geometry?Really now, either you are looking for an outlet for anger because you were embarrassed or you are delusional. I would say both.

Lastly, I would believe that if you had any need for specific info, your dealer would happily provide you with what you need. If there is something he wasn't familiar with, I'm sure you could drive on down to a parts garage, mechanic, or an audio technical installer, detailer, off-road shop or automotive detailer to help you with any questions you may have. Just make sure your "kind of friends", family and any other god children riding along with you cover their skeletal orifices.

Interesting; the comment about being a pervert; Is that the impression I could give her or her parents for just being on this forum? Really? I guess I need to re-evaluate why I'm here. I think you really hit home this time.

Yah, and your right, but then I admited it was my fault. In point of fact I did help her a lot; without my help she would have had a serious setback. Like I say again, I acknowledge the fact that I will have to be more careful next time... But then, there doesn't have to be a next time now does it? I can surf elsewhere for H3 info.

Not sure where anger and delusion comes in though, I admit I could never have predicted such a remark from someone who has been reading my words up till now.

Hmmm...I think I will stick to forums for real first hand user experience. Dealers and shops tend to charge a lot when I have the capability of either installing the part myself or fabricating one that looks just as good or better.

But seriously, yes, you are quite right, this is not the place for me either. Thanks for making that more clear in a nice way. To the others; no offense intended and have a nice life.

RYD Let's see...... it IS the H3 General section.

AND, the original poster is talking about the forum in General. This thread is exactly in tune with the forum and it's location.

Perhaps you compartmentalize everyone you meet and talk to as much as you would like to here. I guess discussion of other topics with people that share the same interest to you is asking a little too much.

Actually to put it as simply as I can I am more concerned with my relationship with my God daughter and her parents. Just because I pick my nose doesn't mean I need to do it in public now do I? Or am I describing someone here? So I feel appearance should mean something if it means keeping those you love (and not ending up in court). Though you may never admit it, I am sure you understand my point.

No, you are paring down your point after being called on the fact that you are worried that your "friends" might not be quite the friends you thought they were. Your passive attempt at condescencion was duly noted and very easy to pick out per your following quote:

All I said there was true and as usual you continue to read things into what I say that aren't there. Sad you can't even understand my point of view and my sort of friends though I explain it as simply as I can. Being above or below doen't even enter into the picture as far as I am concerned; they have their standards and I respect that. Apparently you just don't get it.
