I have an 05. I like the interior. I like the the all black look with padded arm rest alot. I like the layout of the controls, not too many, easy to see and reach.Maybe just a touch more refinement. But I must say, I hve no real complaints.
Some really complain about the interior.
What are the complaints?
What would you like to see in the the refreshed interior?

Like you, I have no complaints about the way the interior looks, but for what you pay for a new Hummer, the constant rattles from multiple sources is completely inexcusable.

I've had three H2's now (2 SUV's and 1 SUT). The interiors on them have all had the same problems... Creaky dashes, squeaky door panels, popping A/C vents, crackling headliners, and other miscellaneous rattles in almost every corner. To me, the interior is the part that needs the most improvement on the whole vehicle. I think it really boils down to cheap plastic and no attention to detail during the build. I complain, but I keep buying... Here's to hoping the new interiors get better.

Definately the constant rattles are painful. I am also noticing that the leather front seats are cracking and deforming early in the ownership. (2003 H2 with 17K miles). I wouldn't ask for a Lexus interior in an H2, but it sure could use some serious refinement.

It is sad how cheap the H2 interior really is---The leather is sooooooo cheap and the plastic creaks like a stage coach.

We spend a lot of time at HGW chasing down the creaks because we display our H2s to clients and sponsors--they alway want a ride and I cannot stand them knowing how cheap GM really is.

We are now going to other leather companies to get the real stuff.

Do you have any advice as to things you've done that have actually helped with the creaks? I've seen others mention silicone spray around the door panels and velcro or felt under dash pieces, but nothing I've tried has ever made a lasting difference. Any ideas?

I've never heard any interior rattles. Maybe thats because my stereos usually going full blast? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

My complaint would be appearance. The dash looks cheap. Especially for a $60K vehicle.

Interior rattles should be gone with anything 2006 and newer--GM is well aware of the door panel issues. They've actually sent two yeewnion shop foremen from the Mishewaka plant on a tour of dealerships twice, coming in the door asking what needs to be fixed.
As far as the leather cracking issues, it's typical of all GM trucks. Unless you keep it conditioned frequently(monthly) it's gonna crack on the outside edges.

I like my 2005 interior, the dash is color coded to the external slate blue...

I have an 05 Adventure series with the wheat interior. I take it hunting; it's our weekend car with the kids; I take clients to lunch in it -- -- they think it's a scream.

The interior is perfect for every use. GM should spend its money elsewhere.

Since I'm noise phobic, I pay particular attention to squeeks and rattles. Also, owning a bodyshop doesn't hurt in taking stuff apart and fixing any noises.

However, I must honestly say with 60K miles, the only squeek I get is when the two sided tape becomes unglued at the windshield at the windshield post. I retaped them and haven't had a problem. (yet)

Guess I got lucky.

Our 03 (black) rattles somewhere around the passanger head rest, (every time it rattles and I put pressure on it, it quits) the (black) one has 60,000 miles. Our 03 (yellow) doesn't ralle (yet) it has 38,000 miles.

My '03 H2 never really had any interior squeek problems. The leather was fine, no cracks after 45k miles(Never treated it, just wiped it with a warm cloth when it got muddy. My main complaint was the arm rest getting in the way, when you had to buckle up.

My truck rattles and groans, but I've got used to it. The cheap painted trim is my biggest gripe, it scratches off way too easily, especially around the door handles, more so when you have Seth in there scratching it off, saying he's rubbing some dirt off http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

The dealer replaced the drivers side door surrond, but scratched the new one while they were putting it on http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Hey that's not a fat belly...It's a fuel tank for a love machine!
I forgot about the paint scratching off. Just get the paint id# from Gm and do the work yourself.

I'd say there is way to many flat surfaces and ledges to collect dust. Takes too long to clean after a dusty off-road trip.

On the '03 there is a 1/2 inch crack with some foam/spongy stuff in it, right in front of the center consol. It looks like crap -like they forgot to finish that part of interior.

Yup, the foam looks cheap. BTW my center console squeeks after traveling on dusty, rocky roads, I have to unscrew the compartment bin and blast the metal supports with silicone spray. It is a pain.

it would be nice if they offered it in cloth as well as leather.
