Well, went to the Autoshow in Motion yesterday - thanks for convincing me, Churchill - it was VERY cool! They had a mini course set up to take H2s and H3s off roading - a set of small hills to show articulation, a 35-degree side slope and a 40+-degree hill. Of course I went, had to get my fix. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif You should have SEEN the lines - all the other courses had about 5-6 people in line (there were like 50+ different kinds of cars you could drive). The H3 in the road course had about 15 ppl in line. The Corvette line in the performance course had about 30-50 ppl in line. The H2 off road course had a continuous line of 100-200 ppl!!! It was insane! I am SO glad GM did this tho - even tho the vast majority of people there couldn't afford the truck, I hope that maybe they'll see how cool these vehicles are now and how they're different from your typical SUV - maybe we get AS much flak for driving monster gas-guzzling SUVs that block out the sun. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

BTW - what's up with the pricing, or am I just out of the loop??? The sticker prices on the H2s on display were $62,000! My truck was stickered at $48,000 when I bought it in 03 - has GM really jacked the prices that much? No wonder they're having a hard time moving them off the lot!

It was in San Antonio - it's a traveling roadshow put on by GM. I have NO idea how I got on the mailing list, it was addressed to my maiden name, and I've been married for 7 years! Here's the website - it looks like they're done for November tho:

Dennis - I have no idea. The 2 guys running the H2 course were Canadians!!!! Why are you sending all YOUR people down here (or is this the invasion prep?? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif)?
