View Full Version : Incentives on the H3
Some people are saying that in a few months they will offer incentives on the H3's. Since it's a 2006 model, it seems like the incentives won't come for another year or more. I figure the 2007's won't be hear until Fall 2006, 15-17 months from now.

I am wrestling with waiting a few (up to 6) months for some of the newness to ware off and maybe some incentives. I am told that mine should be in by the end of the month but damn, I hate paying sticker. Oh well, got to pay to play. Guess I have a big decision to make http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Incentives happen when you can't sell what you build or you are going backward on market share. Like the H2 sales are down from years previous. But with the H3 at the present, the dealer can sell all they get. When the dealer sells like this, no rebates.
I would imagine that the 2007 model change will happen around this time next year.

Can't tell for sure whether or not this will happen with the H3, but there were 4 price increases in the first year of the H2, to meet demand. So don't automatically assume the prices will be down in 6 months, they could be up.
Like I said, not sure when or even if this will happen with the H3, but it's definitely something to think about.

Your right about the H2 had several prices increases and they were not small. Becasue the H3 is a fleet sales vehicle (avis) and mass produced compared the the H2 you will se some deals by fall or first of next year. Probally not enough to stop from buying now if you wan one. My dealer wants $1,000 over and taht is bull *** you don't have to do that. I am going to roll the dice and see if some hit the auctions from the Avis fleet in the fall.

check in the phone book for the Az or Phoenix Auto auction. Get a buyer to look for one for you (he will want a fee) or see what it would take to get in on Public auction day or you will have to know someone with a dealers cert.
