It must be hydrolics. I'll bet when it lifts up it looks pretty good. Not sure how much height it would have though, have to see it rather then speculate.
Doesn't look like a celebrity property its parked on. More like a farm or something. And why does it still have the dealer stickers in the window? My guess is it's BS.
Just my observations.

I was watching cribs a while back and I think Shaqs car does this. He said its sleeping and hit the switch and it rose about 3 or 4 inches.
If you look at the front bumper, it shows the H2 is under modification. They are working on it and still building the thingies under the body. I think this photo was taken before the body was raised to the desired height.

Its a body-drop with air bags at all four corners. They lowered the body about 5 inches. Very popular in the LA area. I don't think it's finished though. I like the way it looks,I have always had lowered cars and trucks since I was 16. Looks cool but it is a waist of an H2....BIG-C

its a photo shop
I got it! I bet its a stolen recovery. Think about it - the dealer sticker is still in the window, its sitting on the dirt, its missing parts, and it looks to be outside a body shop/towing facility.
I bet that its a pic of an H2 stolen off the dealer lot & stripped. Then some Photochop geek put some wheels under it.

You can't sell H2 parts, there is no market for it, thieves do far better with Honda and Toyata. I read they are thugs who place orders for parts then the thieves go out to fill the orders.
That's true MAC - I got a set of GTA rims back in the early '90s that way. Cheeep!! A friend worked at a dealer parking cars & would "fill orders" once in a while.
My moral standards are much higher now. I wouldn't ask where they came from. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

That's gotta be a photo chop.
Look at the bolt pattern on the wheels. It's huge, and it appears to be only five lugs.
Plus, look at the back wheel. It's shining, while the body above it is in the shadows.

It's got some lift, skids, and rock rails, among other things.

I hate to say this but I really think it looks cool. I would never buy one and would laugh out loud if I saw it on the road, but I admire someone that took the money and time to do this to an H2. I would surely wave or flick my lights to this enthusiast (if it can roll).
Keep in mind I am an H2 off-road purest too.
I like it.
God help us, the thing is real:

98 SNAKE EATER, The second pic you posted tells the whole story! Look at the rear of the vehicle and you will see that this is the WHEEL CHAIR READY H2 Lowering package - The owner is visible in the PIC! That is so unfortunate. I've been pretty open to the H2 mods, but the H2 was simply not meant to be a low rider. What a waste of beauty.

Wow that looks like crap, it is so very fake. What is with the Z06 rims on it? And if it was real I would think you would be able to see the brake rotors.

Now with some lift, different wheels/tires and less chrome that would be perfect (for me). Flame away, but I don't like the look of the back end ofthe standard H2. If the H3 were anything like that I would loose the H2 in a heartbeat.
