Help...I've lost a set of keys! I called the dealership this morning, and was informed that the key alone is $53, yet it does not have a transponder? If this is the case, that would be a very expensive H3 logo. Anothe dealertold me that a GM blank would work as well?
Could someone PLEASE verify this and giveme part numbers of the H3 logo key as well as the GM blank, assuming that it does indeed work?
Thanks in advance!

I think a regular gm blank will work.
ebay has a cool switchblade type if you want to spend the $$

I am a Locksmith and the Key Blank you are looking for is a Ilco B-102.
Check with a locksmith shop in your area and they should have the key blank if not they should be able to order it for you.
You can also get them with the Hummer Logo.
Going to a locksmith shop will be a lot cheeper then buying it from the Dealership.
I also re-checked my Auto Book and the B-102 is the same key blank for the Hummer H2.
Here is the Info
ILCO/EZ ( Plastic )
P1113/B-102
Substitutes Key
P1106/B86
I hope this Info will help you out.

I just went through this with some guy on ebay marketing H2 keys for the H3. He sent me H2 key blanks, they can not be cut to work with an H3.

Why don't they make the H3 switchblade look nice? Match the truck maybe, something other than bubbly pink letters in a large curvy holder!

The keymaster's bible seems to be off so albeit its a lousy picture maybe you might get an idea of the diffrences... they are grooved along the barrel completely different as well... though you can't really tell from the pic.

before you order it, I would get some assurance that it will work with an H3. The key blank looks like that of an H2 and apparently the doco keysmiths use is in error I've been told the Keysmith's bible states the keys are the same... I bought h3 keys off of ebay to only to get h2 keys... and unless my ignition is a one off... H2 keys won't work with an H3.

I checked with my Locksmith Supplies Company on the H3 Key Blank. They told me it is a Ilco P1113/B102. That is also the same key for the Hummer H2.
If the H3 is base on the GMC Canyon. It could have the Canyon Locks. The key blank for the Canyon is a Ilco P1114/B110

Arizona Hummer Boy:
The P1113 / B102 is just a standard 10 cut GM key and not the correct key for the H3.
Yes the P1113 is found on the H2s but the H3 actually uses the same key as the Colorado which is a B110P.
If you look at it from the tip you'll see it's basically the reverse of the X217 Toyota key.
What lock shop do you work at?

I'm at Advanced Lock Service on Glendale and 23rd Drive. We're mostly automotive, we do all the transponders, etc.
Yeah, I've run a few calls in my H3, it never fails to get a response.
Stop in and say hi some time if you're in the area, you'll see my blach H3 parked outside if I'm there.
