Tried to install a front grill guard, I removed the D-Ring and 2 bolts, but the mount will not come off?? is there a bolt behind it also?? HELP!

Yup on the earlier models .

Option 1 remove complete bumper,grill ect

option 2 Put a pipe on the hook and snap retaining clip and unscrew.

Option 3 let the dealer do it.

Use the find button (you will come to know its a valuable tool)lots a talk , pictures and instalation advice about brush gaurds.

Option 4 drill out from front. not recomended

Thanks you'all! Very sad, ill be sending the grille back for %15 restocking fee.. ( im not taking front end off... ) PS: I did a search for this under: grill / brushgard, nothing came up...

Try tow hook, tow hooks, bumper removal,ect also change to check all forums if nothing comes up.Also try brushgaurd you spelled it wrong . <STRIKE>brushgard</STRIKE>Also brush gaurd you got to work it

I want to eventually get a gaurd take the trouble to get it put on it will look good.

wich guard did you get?

Maybe someone on here will buy the guard from you for just over what the restocking fee would have cost you.

Don't return it. It's real easy to remove the grille and bumper to get those two little bolts off. It took me about an hour to remove and install everything back on. There's specific instructions somewhere on this site.

Don't pay the restocking fee. If you can't do the work yourself, use the fee to ofset the dealer putting the guard on for you.
