nope, he's correct. If you buy it with 0 miles, that's what it will show.

Then anyone can just change out the cluster, keep the orginal, and re-install before they sell it with less miles on it? Thats not right...

10 minutes to install? Hummertech..drop dime on this dude. Bob Mooore of OKC replaced mine because a light was out... had the truck a week just to get the cluster but there is no way they gave the tech .1 to replace the dern thing. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

I thought there is a "black box" that also keeps the mileage in a effort to circumvent odometer fraud-
