View Full Version : Black Interior option coming soon???

Since I pulled myself out of the running for the 2003 H2, I've decided to get a 2004.

Question, is Hummer going to offer a black interior for the standard H2? I noticed photo's of the SUT with black interior. Does anyone know of any possibility of this color being available in the future for the regular H2?

Thanks!

I haven't heard anything of it making it into the SUV for 2005. All the documentation on the GM Media site only mentions Black Interior in the SUT. BUT - they haven't said much about the '05 SUVs yet so we'll have to wait & see.

Well you've got a whole year to come up with a new reason why you didn't pull the trigger on an '04.

MMPH2

I'd hate to get an '04 in March when I could have gotten BLACK interior on an '05 in October. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

If nothing is in the works for the black interior, then I'm going with the new one in March. (Have 2 cars to sell in the meantime)

DRTYFN

Well there you go!! You've already got the hang of making excuses why you're not buying an H2. And the selling your other cars is a good stand buy just in case the black interior becomes available.

The 05's are due out late spring/early summer. June is the last I heard, and is what I base my sig line on. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Dan is right. I heard the 04 model year for all Hummer's H1, and H2's is going to be short. The 05 H2 is due out before the normal car model year comes.

So if you buy in March your truck will be 4 months old to you when the 05's come out.

You better hold off until '07 just to make sure.

DRTYFN...geez...just asking a question about the interior options. Take it easy on me, I'm new here. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

I AM taking it easy on you for being wishy-washy. Interior color was also a concern of mine when I was ordering my H2. But after seeing it, sitting in it and driving it I decided it wasn't enough of an issue to postpone my purchase. Besides, black will show every bit of dirt and mud that gets tracked in.
If you're gonna wait for tomorrow all the time life is going to pass you by.
So go put on a pair of pants and go by one already. And stop being so delicate.

I generally buy black on black on black, but in the Hummer's case, it doesn't matter at all. I like the tan or wheat or gray interior, more pleasant airy and bright. The lesson learned here for car company is not to give people too many choices, people are too picky and fuzzy. Just make H2 in one color and one interior, black on black. You don't like it, don't buy it. That way, all you dudes who bought the wrong colors(any color that is not black) would not be driving a H2 today, you all would be in Jeeps and trolls attacking my Hummer and my Hummer shall be the proud and few. I'll spit on you and your Jeeps when I pass you on the road. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_redface.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

It was REALLY nice. I actually thought about it for awhile.

I can appreciate that...thanks!

Guess I won't be asking any more questions about different options available for '05. I'm going out there and getting an '04.

I've already started talks with Lynch Hummer in St. Louis and DURAMAX TIM might have something for me to take a look at.

And in October they will announce that there will be upgrades to the 06's and then you'll wait for that and then the 07's and so on. Your trying to find excuses to not buy one.

Note:GM just announced the 2019's will have Rocketdyne/Rockwell International main jet engines, solid rocket boosters and heat resistant tiles. They will be capable of manned space flight. Damm I should have waited. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Jesus, do you guys ever quit? I just got a hair cut because my wife didn't like my long hair.

Far from going bald...my father and grandfather still have a full set of hair. Just because you guys are going bald, don't take it out on the young guy.

Lastly, I doubt it a modeling agency would ever hire a "balding" 27 year old...so EAT IT!

Now your learning. Aside from all this ball breaking this is a great site. Last week I wired up that roof rack light bar. I would not have been able to do it without the help of 2 people on this site. They saved me $200.00 that the dealer wanted to charge for an install.

Okay gilrs...I'm outta here for the next 3 days. I'm taking "the wife" to Nemacolin Resort & Spa (in PA) for New Years.

She thinks it's for her to relax and enjoy the new year celebration (that's true), but she doesn't know that Nemacolin offers a 2 hour off-road course with an H2 for me. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Have any of you heard of Nemacolin? (those on the east coast) I guess the course is a long "off-road" drive thru the hills of PA. Similar to the Range Rover/H2 course at the Equinox resort in Vermont.

Some of you may have seen this, but my dealer here (the one with the 85k h2's) has a leather seat cover that appears to be awesome. It is soft and subtle. Much softer than the stock leather. When they sell a set, or put it on one as a mandatory option, I will check it out and take pics.
