Hi all,

I'm brand new to the site and it seems like a great hummer source and even better community. I have talked to my local dealer 3 times in the past 2 months about when the nav system will be available. Still nothing. He told me the system will accept the order, but not assign a build date. Does this sound right, or am I being jerked around? I think I read a while back where someone wrote about a test build. Anything new?

Your dealer is correct. The NAV option has been on constraint since the H3 started to be built and could not be ordered at all. A month or two ago, dealers could start to order rigs with the NAV, but without a build date from the factory.

As far as I know, this is still the situation. The factory still has yet to start building any H3 with the NAV system in any great numbers, and I haven't heard of anyone getting these rigs on the ground yet.

You are better off looking for aftermarket nav... there are a few good posts and pictures on these forums..

Use the search function to find pictures of them. I think the 2 main Nav systems I've seen installed are from Pioneer and Eclipse.

Our order, w/factoiry nav, apparantly has been built this week (week of 12-19) and has an estimated arrival date at the dealer of around 1-14-06. We have had the order in since August. When I called the dealer today to chk if it actually got built, the answer was yes and the nav option was still on the truck. It's in shipping waiting to get sent out. Our fingers are crossed.

I forgot, as of two weeks ago there are no options on the H3 that have constraints anymore. Again, that was as of two weeks ago
