I have to disconnect the battery to install a winch. In a couple of previous post, some people stated that their key got stuck in the ignition, when the battery was disconnected. What is the procedure for disconnecting the battery?

dont put the key in ignition dude.if the key is in ignition when you disco battery yes the key will not come out until you reco battery.
