A/C or Electric problem

Last Friday I took the family for a 300+ miles trip Up north; when we were like 50 miles into the trip we stop for lunch, when I got back on the truck and we went back on the road, my A/C was just blowing hot air (out side temp was 97 F) so on the next rest area I stopped and checked what I could with no luck, we decided to go ahead with out the A/C suddenly when I re-started the truck the driver seat moved forward all the way, my mirrors adjusting moved and my TNR did not recognize my CD changer http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif well we arrived to our destination; next morning I tried it and the same thing happened, so I decided to pull all the fuses and relays and re-install them one by one. then I tried starting it up, my seat went back to the normal (programmed) position as well as the mirrors, my TNR recognized my CD changer and most important my A/C compressor was working and it has been since 528 Miles later http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif any idea any one??? BTW I have a new battery (optima) put on 2 1/2 month ago!

Sorry, not anything common. Couldn't tell you more without seeing your truck.

Sounds like something is interfering with the class 2 data bus. A loose connection might cause this.

I'd check all of your connections to the NAV and CD Changer. Beware that sometimes a pin can be "pushed back" inside the connector making a bad or intermittent connection.

I just put mine in the shop for a similar problem. Mine would for no reason just blow out hot air only on the drivers side. If I shut the air off, in time, it would start blowing cold again for a short time. It seemed to do it on both fresh and recirculate.

Hmmm...mine does that occasionlly too, even after they replaced an orifice tube when it was in for service last time. Do you know what they did to fix yours IP?

mine last week when i was out of town and it was 97 plus out my a/c worked like **** drove 200 and some miles with very poor a/c ( warm inside ), sure wish i know what to do with it
