Errrrhhh, what 'hollow' metal pipe would that be? If you are cutting in the monitors, you will keep the solid posts intact and run your wires out and down the side (yes, visible wiring)of one of the posts. Sorry if I am misunderstanding your question, but I think that is what you are referring to.

No, i mean..i don't want the wires to be exposed, as much as possible i wanted to hide it. That's why i bought a hollow pipe from hardware store and i have the exact diameter, problem is, dunno how to install it, i might have to do a little metal bonding stuff..

Man, don't mess with the posts as those could one day save you from a broken neck in event of an accident. If you can somehow find some of the hollow chromolly steel posts that the aftermarket vendors use (and that are dot certified) then you could have those posts professionally welded into your existing headrest. I would not try to Mcgyver your posts just to hide the wire--when the headerst is down you really can't see the wire anyway if you do it right.

I cut down a set of rubber shock covers and installed them. Hides everthing and looks nice. Colr match to the interior.
