Just wanted to let you all know that the Night Driver System is now being delivered. There is about a 7-10 day delay as they are currently catching up on backorders.

Jason, do you happen to know how this attaches to you dash and wireing? Also, what is estimated installation time?

Do you have any idea about the scratch resistance of the camera lenses?

I did get the install instructions late on Friday, will take a closer look at them and pass on the basics of the install.

I will also have the full version (pdf file) that I can pass on to any of you, if interested.

I've seen them mounted on an H2. Someone in Dillion actually had it on a Pewter one. The mount is down in the little flimsy plastic thing, you know that little v-shaped growth that comes out in front of the wheel well. I think that maybe that's a dangerous place to have a $3000 lens hanging, with stones and all. I'd rather it was mounted behind the grille or maybe on the roof rail. But I've never seen this in action. I was thinking about getting one too though...

www.nightdriver.com (http://www.nightdriver.com) has all the info about the system. Have installed it in a few H2's. Flush mount on the dash. Fantastic piece of gear. There may not be much call of rthis, but it should give you an idea of how ell it works, "you can see a rabbit in complete darkness 100 feet away". I am sure there are other applications/uses as well:)

Would one of you that has the system installed post pictures of the unit installed in your truck? Interior and exterior? Thanks in advance. the Night Driver site leaves much to be desired. They should do a better job of showing the $3000.00 merchandise they are trying to sell. :twak: ;)
