Quick question on folks that did it on their own... Is there a torque specific setting when tighting it back up? Or did you just use good judgement?

thanks,

I don't understand "torque specific setting". I just turned them both the same amount, I think it was 2 turns, and then drove it a bit and checked for level with a tape measure. Is that what you mean?
BTW the stickers look great. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

so you just acutally turn it? Its not something you losen first, then turn, then tighten again?

Just making sure. This would be my first attempt in raising a truck via torsion.

jack up the front end to relieve some of the torsion pressure make a referance mark then "just turn it" what ever amount you think you need, most are doing between 1-1/2 and 2 turns

Make sure you mark the bolts and turn them clockwise to lift the front end up. Front end alignment should be checked.

Here is a photo of my H3 with 2 1/4 turns. Front end was out a bit after adjustment

Actually, it was in a past thread. It caused more noise with the sunroof open due to attack angle difference.

Yeah, that was my observation in that other thread. It amazed me how much it changed the aerodynamic profile and affected the sunroof.
