During our last heavy rain, we decided to test out the water fording capabilites of the H3...It was about 10 inches of water at around 20 mph. The truck never slowed down and steering was a breeze...

Are you saying Texas gets more rain than WA? I'm not meteorologist, but something doesn't sound right about that...heh heh --although, I am new to Texas..

Silver Lake State Park. The only place in Michigan to drive on the dunes. The address is Mears Mi. Its located about half way up the west coast of Michigan on Lake Michigan.
About 5 square miles of dunes to drive,,300 to 500 ft dunes and about a mile of beach line on Lake Michigan
Where are you in Texas? I spent a year at the GM plant in Arlington in '98
