Mud Flaps and tube steps?

Yes they can. According to the Hummer website mud flaps can not be installed with the OEM slider (protection) bars. This is not true though, they can.

thats just according to the website. but the mudflaps can be installed with anything, be it side steps or rocker panel protection.

i have the sidesteps but they arent on in these pics, but h3 hummer has the rocker panel protection and mudflaps in the red h3 here:

Take the "you can put 'em on with rock slider" advice with a grain of salt. I ordered the factory mudflaps. The dealer installed my rock sliders, they may be backwards, I don't know yet as I'm laid up with knee surgery. As they are now, the GM mud flaps will not mount as they are now, the rock sliders are too far forward. I'll post more on this when I find out what the problem is. As of right now, with the bars, yes, with the rock sliders, not yet.

Coupla questions:

1. What roof rack you got on there (resolution isn't picking it up or the focus was a tad out) How much was it? I'm either gonna make my own or wait for one I find (maybe the one you have) that's reasonable enough, tough enough, functional enough.

2. Like I said above, as soon as I can, I'm going to resolve the rock bar/mud flap issue on my H3. When they mount, are they on pre-existing holes? While I'm under there, I'm going to install the extra skid protection, how does it work with the rock slider bars?

I'm thinking about installing the mud flaps but do they really stop a lot of junk from kicking up on the vehicle??

seriously you guys should try doing a search on mudflaps in this forum to see everyones thoughts. but ill reiterate that the mudflaps should come stock on the h3 to protect your doors, and rear fenders from rock chips and mud the mudflaps are a very wise $79 spent.

The roof rack is a Thule brand - it is about $275.00 and easy to put together. It is aluminum I think but heavy duty and I have had no problems with it. For the dinero I think it is worth it. I don't have any wind noise problems. It carriers more then it looks like it would. I can attach stuff to it real easy, like the high lift jack and shovel on the other side.

The rock bar/sliders install on pre-existing holes. I don't think you can put them on backwards. I put my mudflaps on after they were installed. They are heavy duty, actually two bars and very nice. I have the steps that go in them also, very nice and come off in 5 minutes each. From what I have read these the OEM are the only way to go or make your own.

The OEM extra skid protection (undercarriage protection)does not work the rock sliders at all. You bolt one on the two pieces to the existing bolts right behind the "H3" guard and the other one replaces the existing transmission protection.

Very nice and easy to install - just a little heavy and maybe hard to get under there for bigger guys.

That can't be correct. I have both the OEM rocker bars and the OEM undercarriage protection and they live happily together.

I was drunk when I wrote that. I meant they don't work together. Meaning they don't have bolts that bolt onto each other and so forth. Sorry I confused anyone. You are completely correct they work fine together.
