i have a color keyhole camera in my bumper,ive seen the newer versions with night vision which looks like a ring of led bulbs around the lense.anyone have one? does it work well?

I looked at those but saw one installed in another vehicle and didn't like the quality of the picture. I ended up buying a good quality color camera that has 0.5 lux and it does well in anything but complete darkness. Of course it's still in a box somewhere in my garage since I haven't installed it yet but I saw it in action at a local store.

the led's are crap.. jsut get a normal good quality color cam

hey dh22g,
are your front and rear bumpers painted white?
can you post or email me a pic,i have a white one also and wondered how that would look?

I ordered a backup camera when I installed my kenwood 7015. It helps for parking such a huge vehicle and works well at night.

I installed small fog lights in the rear under the tow hooks to help light up for the camera in the dark.

I have a night vision cam, color mounted in the rear bumper. It has the little bulbs encircling the quarter sized camera and it works fine. I want it for making sure I don't back over a kid, bike or other item. For that purpose it is fine and works good.
