I would assume anything you can do to reduce the total H2 weight would go a long way towards improving gas mileage. hey every little bit helps...
So are there things that owners here have done to drastically reduce their H2's weight?

H2s aren't racing ricer mobiles! The more weight and less gas mileage the cooler you are. I think removing 100lbs equals like 1/10th second off your quarter mile, which in mpg terms roughly equates to...nothing.
You could remove the interior, toss anything that's powered and not essential (windows, onstar module, etc), replace roof with plastic and... wait...that's starting to sound like a Jeep! Stop!

I don't think it's possible to remove enough to make a difference.

thanks for all the answers guys... i also own an Acura NSX where removing 100 lbs really can make a difference on an aerodynamic sports car!

I will never understand why people buy a Hummer than look for ways to improve gas mileage. It's a Hummer. If you can't afford gas than you probably couldn't of afforded the Hummer in the first place. I also have a Corvette. I look to remove weight but for other reasons. :D

Wanna save gas, reduce weight by keeping yourself out of it and start riding the bus.....getting an additional 1-2 miles a gallon at best isn't worth the removal of creature comforts.;)

You could try getting yourself down to Shaggy's weight. That would be good for about 100 lbs.
