That is a good price.. most of the dealers I talked to said that they had to send it out to a tire place...

How did you get that price? My dealer charge $59. I don't know if I have to bring it in there or not.

As I recall mine charges $90. I am going to go with the Firestone Lifetime Alignment myself.

crap!, I went to a local tire shop today to get an alignment but they couldn't do it because they don't have the specs for the H3....so, I have to drive up to the dealer and pay the $59.00....wtf! :D :D

i told them it was off after the new front diff was put in in salt lake , the total on the bill was 90.00 the amount on customer pays line was 24.00 . i also asked them to straighten the wheel it was off about an 8th of a turn . so i may of gotten a free alignment and paid 24.00 for the wheel straightening , not sure
the best part is i cranked my t-bars 2 turns before i took it in :D :D

Neocon, Do you still rub at full crank?

yes bully it still rubs but same as 37's on a H2 . its not bad at all , what i have learned to do is turn the wheel back about an inch to two from hard lock and you wont even notice . i wheeled for about 2 months with the 35's before cranking the t-bars .

OK Guys & Gals... I had to take my H3 in for a front end alignment today. Only 2725 miles. It seems when I was wheelin in Colorado I tweaked the front end a little (well maybe alot) and the steering wheel was off center, down on the left about a half inch when on a straight road. It still drove fine the 600 miles home! I had already done 2 days of wheelin and didn't notice any pulling or anything wrong and I still did 2 more days of wheelin after I noticed it. I have to take my H3 into a Chevy dealer for warranty work since the dealer I bought the Hummer from is 187 miles away so I really wasn't real thrilled about that but it seems they did a good job. At least the steering wheel is centered now. Unfortunately I didn't think to ask the technician what specs he used because I remember f5fstop saying there was a bulletin issued and not to use the service manual specs. I did ask if it was out of align and he said ... yep... quit a bit. They did NOT charge me a thing! Asst. Service manager said because it was under 6000 miles. But it looks like they would have charged me $49.95 plus whatever else... after the 6000? Is the 6000 miles normal?

Glad it all worked out for you. Who did you buy from, Hummer of KC? I believe alignments are covered up to 7K.

Yes I did.... If it comes up again I will remember that and maybe give them a call before I take it to the Chevy dealer.
Thanks!
