Screw You, Hillary, We Don?t Back Your Double Nickels
http://www.jalopnik.com/images/2006/05/hagar.jpg
Listen, we spend enough time doing 55 or less on the Dime as it is (I-10 is not the most uncongested freeway in Los Angeles), and the last thing we need is for Hillary Rodham Clinton to undo the work her husband signed into law a decade ago allowing the states to set their own speed limits and freeing us from the tyranny of stupid-low speed limits. According to Clinton, ?The 55-mile speed limit really does lower gas usage. And wherever it can be required, and the people will accept it, we ought to do it.? Hillary, we the Jalopniks are of the people. And we do not accept it. Go stick your nose somewhere else. [Thanks to Al for the tip.]

FWIW I have heard that gas mileage is generally better in the 50-60 mph range. That being said...I think it should be up to the individual to decide if they want to slow down for the sake of gas mileage.

well when she becomes President Hillary in 2 years because the Republicians can not get their heads out of their a*ses we will see 55 MPH and we will have to carpool on alternating even day on odd months. Political choices this upcoming elections are weak.

I agree with your sentiment, but please don't use the phrase, "Screw You, Hillary." The image makes me nauseous.
