you just have to chuckle at hummer haters. at least they gave credit to the H2 for 15mpg city, which is a bit better than i get. their math is fairly questionable, though, as 15mpg and 24l/100km aren't equivalent.

Haha Dummer, I get it, it's a play on words! Here is something funny... "*Average city milage 15mpg (24 L/100km), approximately 5 times worse than the Honda Insight."
Why not just make it "*Average city mileage 15mpg (24 L/100km), approximately infinity times worse than a bicycle." They aren't even coming close to comparing similar vehicles, they might as well have compared the h2's mileage to how many legs a millipede has, would've made more sense!
Some of these are alright, I really like:

110 people to sell a house???????????
mikejr

yes it is a national average that 110 people touch a file to close the sale of a house....if you figure how many are involved with the mortgage, the inspections, the closing, all the tax letters, title work etc....its easy to see how many people the sale of one home benefits. That is why the government lowers the interest rates to spur the economy, just look at when 9/11 happened we had some of the lowest rates in history...to spur the economy.

GOOD FIND! LMAO!
This does bring up a couple of questions.
Is the HUMMER HATER madness worse in Canada than the lower 48?
If it's worse in Canda, does this mean they have more spineless tree huggers?
:D

I think it's more of a B.C. thing. During the Vietnam war, alot of the SPINELESS draft dodging TREE HUGGERS from Nortern Cali(Berkley freaks) and Oregon, Washington state moved to B.C. (sounds logical anyhoo:D )
I don't find MUCH hate here in central Canada. Alot more thumbs up than middle fingers:D

The following areas of Canada are where the Hummer vehicles are very well liked: All of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, Northern Ontario, North Western BC and the Maritimes. I didn't include The Territories because I don't know of anyone who owns one up there...but I'm sure they would love it too. It is very rare to find someone brave enough to tell you what they think of your vehicle, I get tons of people saying Nice truck, kids breaking their necks in passing cars from the back seats trying to look at it. I've seen people do everything they can to avoid getting run over by one, such as the lady I almost ran over in the Co-op Grocery store parking lot...I just picked up the wife from the enterance and started to roll away whern this lady came flying out of the store and jumped out in fron of the truck, I slammed on the brakes and waved at her to get moving...she looked at the grill and then looked up at me and said "H..Y S..T!!" She then moved back quickly and motioned for me to go ahead...when I passed her I heard her say..."F..k Me, I'm not messing with that thing", I waved and told her to have a nice day...then I laughed when I was far enough away! :D
It's the Beatniks that go to the Universities out here at all of the major metropolitan centres that take environmental based studies and since it's their first year or two they get wrapped up in too much campus BS, it's only after some time out in the field that they realize how dumb founded their beliefs were and end up buying a Hummer or other large 4x4 to get to their favorite geological terrains in order to continue their studies! :)
Only problem is that they keep protesting and getting off-road trails closed, which in the end, will make it that much harder for them to get out on their when they need to do some research...too bad for them the other Hummer owners will start buying all that crown land and turning it back into privately owned 4x4 zones again and fining all beatniks $10,000.00/ea for tresspassing! REVENGE! ;)

Agreed. We get millions of man hours dedicated to us and our vehicles from haters in the form of artwork. People buy us gifts, such as bumper stickers just because we are Hummer owners. We have TV shows about us, and a video game! And we can ruin certain peoples days just by driving past them. What could be better?!
