It it me or does the NEW FORUM seem a bit quieter since the change ?
I don't see as many new posts or banter ...

I will say, staying home on the weekend is boring 'cause the forums are dead. Old and new forums. I guess the forums are what people do when they're supposed to be working during the week:rolleyes:

I think the forum has gotten quieter before the change over to the new forum and that did not help either.

Summer. I just spent a few hours installing my long range lamps. Then a few hours mulching the landscape. Yesterday, wash, claybar, wash again and then Zaino'ed the Hummer. Now, I'm cooling down.

My observation is that it's been quieter since the change to the new format. And there seems to be more monitoring/censorship/whatever you want to call it since the change. I'm not complaining, just my 2 cents on what I've noticed.

I have not noticed any "street fights" or "jousts" since the change. Has all the entertainment gone somewhere else??

Summer, people have stuff to do. someone go for a subject sure to inspire and the trolls and all will arrive I'm sure. Bought the H3 Saturday. Slate base with auto. I first saw the prototype of the H3 at a las vegas GM meeting in 2003. We also saw advanced video of the mules at the plant in 04 and In 05 I was at another Gm meeting for Hummer in Orlando when we say the working H3 in the sheeet in moab. I have been jonesing for this truck since 03 so today I'm bullit proof. She hits the dirt later today.
HUMMER is like nothing else.....

Thats my MOMS dog HERMAN, 175lb, 38" at the shoulders when on all 4's, ATTACK TRAINED and can shake hands with either his left or right paws.
He's a Harliquen GREAT DANE. Considered the KING of Dogs. My Family has been raising and showing Great Danes for about 55 Years. My Moms an AKC Judge.
He's too BIG to get into the H-3. She had to keep her old GMC Safari Van just to transport him and her other Great Dane named TROUBLE.
She loves to jump and hit you in the LUG NUTS...
Anyway he's much more striking to look at then my X-girl friend so...

Having run a forum myself and made the change to vBulletin years ago, the intitial move will lose a few people. Over time, moving to vB will help the forum. It's a much more robust and solid format for forums -- and forum management. Have faith, things will pick up again. I was also away for a little while, but spring has hit here in NY and I've got customization fever. "What can I add to the HUMMER?".... I still owe this forum pics of the rig which I'll do once I get the Dual DVD headrests installed.:D
Having not posted in a while, it was nice to see all the new owners and regular posters!

I personally did/do not find it "entertaining", actually it's quite annoying. I am very "forum literate", having been on several Corvette forums for a good bit of the last 6 years. A considerable amount of activity on this board forces you to either engage with the idiots, or hope that what you want to read or discuss gets posted and one can just read and lurk. I know it's only a few members, but as long as they exist this will never be a "true" discussion forum for everyone, but rather for the idiots or well established everyday posters. Not a complaint, just an observance. IMHO
