I bought these on eBay - they are an actual GM factory part. From what I've read, I won't be able to transfer the DVD players to my leather headrests. So, it looks like I'll be selling these on eBay. Anyone have an interest?

I sent everyone interested a PM. I'd look to recoup my cost - $935. GM charges something like $2,000 for these installed. Installation is the easy part -- a local car audio guy GM uses told me $150 installed. I'm awaiting shipment from UPS and will provide everyone a status update. Send me a PM if interested at that price.

Well, if they are, I don't know about it. I think it's a little harsh to say "DO NOT BUY". If they do say anything about being refurbs, I'll pass the info along. IMHO, refurb or not, $900 for this set is more than fair.

Don't listen to a word he says, just running around the forum trying to start crap
$900 is a good deal.

Thanks. Not like I've been trolling around selling refurbed DVD Systems. Just trying to resell ones I just bought -- and offering at the same price I paid. And for the record, if you look at the listing (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=8067830577&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT), the box appears to be white.

I just picked up the same set but in Ebony/Pewter to match my interior. That makes this set available. A few people sent me PM's. I'll go in order or PM's received to see if anyone is still interested. To protect everyone, transaction will be done through eBay -- we can agree on price and just do a Buy Now. I think this is the fairest way and best way to protect all parties.
Thanks.

To tell you the truth dude, they really are refurbished. I hope you didn't get scammed into buying these for their original price. Good luck with the sales anyway.

You might be right. They came in a white box that wasn't "new". Either way, I just bought a leather set for about the same price. If they work, that's all I care about. They have quality check stickers on them.
I'll be happy when my leather headrests arrive, are installed and the cloth headrests are sold.
Next big mod will be wheels, but I'm going to hold off for a while.

Hey guys -- I haven't heard back, so I went ahead and listed on eBay. I took new photos of the DVD headrests. If you are interested, here is the link to my DVD Headrest Auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8073670329).
Thanks and happy bidding. Now, it's off to my car audio guy to get my leather set installed!

But I wouldn't pay $900 for a half-assed set that doesn't have individual DVD players integrated into the headrest and are not used by GM. Good luck with that set though....

Just an FYI: The pair of Invision Revolution DVD Headrests (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8073670329) are at $699, no reserve and ends in an hour. My loss could be your gain. I paid $912 plus shipping.
