It's a double turn lane, I was in the inside lane and we were both turning. The other car was supposed to turn into her lane but instead she turned into my lane and hit me on the side. She pushed me into the cement divider (about 12" high)...

here's the damage of the other car..

And the pics of yours?

Just make sure you get their insurance company to cough up diminished value. Give you a bit more cash for the trouble...

Sucks to be her. But got to heart the Hummers and the SMA guard. Just touch of black paint and the green lantern is as good as new!

Gotta give it to SMA - they may be bankrupt, but they built some serious stuff.

The brush guard may still be a bit tweaked. Of course, it's probably easier to take some trucker chain and fix the tweaking then to get the stink off of a Toyota's drivers seat...

Glad to hear the damage to your H3 was minor. Most of the crash stories we hear on this forum involve backing into parked cars and objects.

Yeah, she was not happy and I feel so sorry for her (she's probably around early 60's). But I'm glad I'm driving a Tank!. You should have seen the face of that one driver (Mini Cooper) of the incoming traffic when I hit the divider. :D

This is one of the main reasons I bought a hummer. For the next drunk ass that decides to drive and attempt to take my life, I want to send him flying!

Brush Guard is scratched, need insurance money to add a winch to draw away from the scratch.

glad they bounced off.
question: where'd you get the trick grill? it looks great.
also, what brush guard is that, it doesn't appear to be the stock one.

i backed in to a suburban the other day. :(
bent part of the rear bumper about 1/8 inch but buckled the sub's front bumper!!! :p
those new subs are really built like crap!!!

Glad you came out on the good side. We have quite a few customers being hit and leaving with un-noticeable "blemish" while destroying the lesser vehicles. "LIKE NOTHING ELSE"

Glad you rig came out alright. I can't believe that is all that happened compared to her car. Hummers are freaking amazing :D

When I first read the title of the thread I thought for sure you had run out of things to do to your rig and decided to total it and start over so you have something to do on the weekends :D ;)

OK...so work is filitering out the pictures so I can't see either vehicle involved...but I have to ask. How the fcuk does a hummer get pushed into a wall by a CAR??? Especially if it was during a slow turn? I would think the massive weight would allow you to stand your ground fairly well at low speeds with a smaller vehicle...am I wrong?

I guess your mind would tell you to turn away not into the person. Demo durby rules though, you should have backed up and poped her hood and disable the car so you could move on to the next victom:D

I guess with the impact and tried to avoid her (oohh tree hugger) plus she was going faster than me (duh Hummer!). I hit and went over the cement divider (about 8-12" high, thanks to some offroad events). Luckily I didn't hit the incoming traffic and enough clearance for the divider (thanks 35's).

Well, I'm glad you're both OK and no real damage to the truck. Looks like the SMA guard was a good investment. :)

I have been kicking around the idea of buying the SMA guard for the past few days. Deciding vote cast! Time to lighten the wallet a little bit.
