Found this link to a jeepers climb of Lions Back. Could be a repost but I'd never seen it. It will likely be the closest some of us get to actually doing it ourselves. I almost peeeed my pants watching the poor guy. Listen to his breathing, almost hyperventilates

What a freekin wuss.
Of course I haven't gone up there but I may have to now that I have a H3. No way I would I have taken my Chevy s-10 Blazer up that. Just not geared low enough.
I've also seen video of people who've lost their brakes on the way down. Not pretty.

It is a great video, minus the stupid commentary, although he is proabably saying exactly what I woudl be thinking if I were there

Kudos to the guy for doing it cause that's some scary sh*t, but what a whiner.

You know, buying a top-end 4x4 doesn't automatically give you mad wheeling skills. Between the lines he picked, his erratic speed, the panic stops and complete lack of BTM, I'm amazed he got down safe at all. :rolleyes:
