Ok,
I am debating buying a H3 sometime this fall. I basically want a 5 spd. with the Adventure package and sunroof. I will probably add some aftermarket parts later on, but for now, that's all I need. What prices can I expect for a pre-owned 2006? Obviously the price depends on a mulitude of variables, but I am basically wanting the 10 year warranty on a certified pre-owned for a lower price. If anyone can look into a crystal ball, I have read about the GMID, and maybe that will be the best scenario. In addition, has anyone had trouble with the sunroof not closing completely.
Thanks,
Hummer Guy

My guess is that vehicle you'd have to special order, unless you're lucky and a dealership nearby carries the adventure in a 5spd. Also, finding a pre-owned vehicle to those specs would be even more difficult. I would get your dealer to order one in. There's an extra rebate on Adventure packages right now (at least in TX) and you can get some good deals on a new one. If you can get it, GMID is the best way to go if you're not a GM employee.

I had to order mine since I wanted the Adventure Package, 5-speed, sun roof and Lux package. Approximately 6 weeks form ordeing to delivery date.
I got a rear seat cover to protect the leather from the dog but he prefers riding shotgun and appreciates the heated seat... just kidding

5-spd Adventure package with sunroof is what I want too, but they're sure hard to come by. Special order is the way to go.
I went to the Hummer dealer in Colorado Springs and they were awesome. The sales manager walked me through a purchase and he lined me up with everything I wanted for $32,500, including monsoon, side airbags, clearbra, tow pkg, and roof lights. I still wasn't ready to buy cause I want a 2007, but the dude didn't give me a hard time when I left. Stan Parsons at Al Serra is the man!
btw, don't let the dealer tell you he can't deal just because it's a "special order". You can bargain with him just like it was on the lot. You also get the same incentives and promotional prices as anyone else, as long long as they're available on delivery (not the order date).

5-speeds are pretty scarce  my dealer had over 70 trucks all H3's not one stick

I'll give you some prices I've observed over the last few months.
1) Lux, 4 speed, 11K miles ($34.5K new) for $31,900
2) Lux, 4 speed, sunroof, chrome wheels, chrome pkg (miles unknown) ($37K new) for $34,300
3) same as #2, 12K miles for $34,500
4) Lux, 4 speed, brush gard, chrome wheel, chrome appearance pkg, Chrome tub assist, sunroof, color coated spare wheel cover 37.8K miles, (new $38.5K) for $25,995.
So used didn't seem to be discounted too much except for #4. Everything above is approximate and could be missing an option here or there.
10 year ext warranty? Really? Sure it's not 6 or 7 year, 100K miles?

We just picked up a new H3 Adventure with auto, roof, side tubes and brush bar for $31,000 here in Seattle. So I'd say buy a new 2006 if you can find one as they are making deals on the old inventory.:D
