How hard was it to get in your state, for those whom have it? Ohio seems like a pain. I make some enemies in my line of work. Wouldn't mind being able to carry when I feel the need.

I thought it was pretty easy here in FL.

Not so much it isn't hard. You need to take a class with the NRA. I think that takes a week. Than you need to take a written test. Then send everything off to the state and wait another 4 weeks. Looks like total you'd be waiting 2 1/2 months.

Just like a I wear my seatbelt when I think I'm going to get in an accident. ;)

not hard at all in Vegas. One day corse, shooting at some targets, filed stripping the gun in front of the instructor, take the written test at the end of the day then send in the paper work. Ya it took some time to get back the permit but not a difficult process at all.

True but I wear my seatbelt all the time. You've never rode with my wife it's habbit now. ;)
I think I would only carry after certain cases I try. But you can't carry in any Public place so I would need to leave it in the car. That's a bit scary.

Got mine here in Washington about 5 years ago. Go down for a background check. Wait a week, get permit. No test, no class, no instructor, fill out a form, get your permit, legally shoot the a$$hole trying to steal your hummer.
Who knows, though. By now, the liberals have taken over and it probably takes a sensitivity exam to get the permit

As Phil mentioned...In Texas, you just have to sit in a classroom(All Frikin Day) and listen to a retired cop tell you how wonderful it was to be him!!!
Shoot at a target that is close enough to poke holes in with a pencil, and know how to load your gun!!!
I think the mirror fogging thing is optional!!!
Haven't looked into a permit here in Va. No need for a permit, just gotta be quick on the draw(I Think!:D )
