Having intermittent electrical problem? After starting the engine this morning the dashboard gauges did not work? had to turn the vehicle off and back on to get them to work. Also, one day last week after turning off the engine, I sat in the car for a couple of minutes to go through some paperwork for work. While the key was in the off position the dash board lights and gauges started going on and off while making a clicking noise? Going to try and make it to the dealer sometime this week?

Here's a simple thing to check in the meantime. Make sure your battery connections are tight. I had a car which would start, but did all kinds of funny things afterwards. After reading some forums, it turned out the side post battery connections were loose. I would have thought the engine would never start with a bad battery connection, but not true. The fix was just a matter of loosening and retightening them. Not saying it will fix your condition, but may be worth a try until you can take it to the dealer.
