Adjustment of the headlamp beam

The owner manual says "If you turn it clockwise, it will raise the beam and if you turn it counterclockwise, it will lower the beam.", but actually it's opposite. If you turn it clockwise, it will lower the beam. Does anyone know why ? :confused:

The illustration on the owner manual looks H2. I guess that GM transfered the same description from H2' s owner manual.:)
