all, I am looking for some BFG 315/70/17 take-off tires. I am in serious need of tires. I am in Las Vegas, but I can also make a quick run to Southern Cal. Please e-mail me if you have any or know of any.

Thanks in advance.

You might try sending a PM to Fubar00. Not sure if he still has his take offs or if he wants to sell them but it's worth a try.

No, just tires. I have a Tahoe that I'm running 315's on. $700 was much cheaper than the $220+ per tire I was finding around town.

Woyster_h3: You are running 315's on your Tahoe?

Do you have a lift? I am trying to find out if H2 wheels and tires will fit on my 2003 2500 Suburban...The stockers are way too small and skinny http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

thanks

Yes, I have an '01 Tahoe with a 3" body lift running 315/70R17's. I put roughly 45,000 miles on the first set and just got my second set put on last week. 105,000 total miles on the Tahoe. I love the BFG's and the larger tires really do set it off.

I know the H2 rims will fit, the question is whether or not the 315's will rub. Have you checked out some GM truck forums? There is a ton of information out there. See your PM.

nope traded them when I purchased the rims & tires I have now. Gota love Big O Tires they gave a $900.00 trade in value for the rims and tires I had.

I've got a set of chrome factory wheels and stock BFG's that are take off's. I put about 9600 miles on them. I'm in Vegas... Shoot me a private message if you're interested. PS - Got your message Rod, I've been out of town. I'll call you tomorrow.

The wheels will fit if you have a 2500 or above, and you will need atleast a 3" body lift with a little bit of torquing on the torsion arms, and a small amount of trimming of your corners of the plastic trim on the front bumper. Oddly enough, the ride will actually be a little better than stock, due to the larger tire!
Good luck, and feel free to ask any questions you might have!
