Can I Lease????

Hello and thanks for looking. I just turned 18 and am thinking about leasing a hummer h2 sut. Does anyone know if i am able to get a lease from a dealer even if i just turned 18. I can make payments of 700.00 and below. Will I be able to lease even if i dont have much credit history? Please help any suggestions are appreciated Thank you.

You can apply for credit with the dealership. They have multiple leasing companies with some being less stringent than others. Of course, the less demanding the leasing company, the higher the penalties. (eg. fees, interest rate, downpayments, etc,)

Since you're probably lacking in the credit history dept., I'm sure they'll start at the "A" list and work their way down.

If you can find a co-signer with good credit then they would probably approve you.

You may want to consider buying a used Hummer while you are establishing your credit, then trade after a year or so.

You could also try to establish a relationship with a local bank/credit union with this loan/lease. Down the road they may loan you more money at better rates than others since you will have proven your timeliness and ability to make your monthly payments to them.

Be careful leasing. Its easier for the creditors to hide fees etc in lease deals.

prolly will be tough without a co-signer bro, i dont like the idea of leasing id rather buy a truck than have to give it back after paying 700$ a monthe for acouple years, plus u cant drive it much when leased cuz they have mileage requirements try to find an 03 with low miles in good condition bro
