Yeah, I can't believe any red-blooded American would take ANYTHING printed, stated or otherwise purveyed from CNN as anything but propaganda and rhetoric. Anyone who would give anything other than a passing glance to that "pole" has to be one big turd.:D

Sandy Eggo deserves to be on that list. It's funny when you drive down 5 - LA looks like a sh!t hole! Then all of a sudden you hit SD county and everything changes. You go from garbage, fallen off parts, tires etc. littering the sides of the freeway to green landscaping and fresh asphalt. :cool:

I was a little surprised to find that Olathe was better than, say, Breckenridge, Colo or even Lawrence, KS.

And you weren't surprised that Wichita made the top ten???

And you weren't surprised that Wichita made the top ten???
Yeah for several reasons (I grew up there):
1 - It ain't a "big city";
2 - ( http://www.weather.com/weather/local/USKS0620?from=search_city ) it's 108 degrees there today;
3 - It's the windiest dustbowl in the world; and
4 - They got rid of those awesome B-1 bombers at McConnell AFB.
However, the people are mostly friendly; it does have "Cow Town" ( http://www.oldcowtown.org/ ); and it's no longer one of the top-5 U.S. targets for the Russian ICBMs.
CNN = poop :D
I wouldn't rely on that rag for anything truthful.;)

I'd classify Wichita as one of the 10 worst cities in the US.
It's not 108 here today. It's 101 with a heat index of 116.

They caught BTK so things are looking up there :D
My only experience with Wichita other than passing through was staying in some dive motel on a college road trip. Motel sucked but we had a great time.
