I met the owner in the Gonzo parking lot a couple of years ago. He'll cut us a group discount, too.

I bet he would keep it open for a couple weeks for us.
Go within the 1st two weeks of Oct. and it will not be an issue.
And you're correct the guy may well delay his plans if he's made an offer that's hard to say no too. He seamed like a pleasant enough fellow that day in the parking lot.

It will be open for us, regardless. I've already talked to him about it.

He'll throw us a free party that weekend too. Open bar, free band, etc. He is really cool guy.

I am planning on Moab the the week of Sep 20th with the Hummer Club. After that, I will be in the area for about a month of wheeling and sightseeing. My schedule is wide open for October and have no real plans. If you would like the company of a slightly older right coaster, my wife and I will be there. Could be a great anniversary gift from us to us.

Personally I think the folks at MapQuest are smoking crack but who am I to argue.
Total Est. Time, Vegas to Co??: 8 hours, 46 minutes Total Est. Distance: 593.51 miles
Having driven from LV to CO on a couple of occasions I know it's a good 11-12hrs.
But yet according to MapQuest; Vegas to Moab is:
Total Est. Time: 6 hours, 34 minutes
Total Est. Distance: 456.55 miles
The math just doesn't add up.. If it's 6.5 hours from LV to Utah it can't be just 2 hours more from Utah to CO not even the southern end of the state.

Actually, with my driving style I found Mapquest to be quite accurate.
But that's the problem -- my driving style freaks my lovely wifey allatime..:D

If you supercharge your H2 you can make it in about 2 hours. ;)

Do you have anything constructive to help FUBAR out with what might be a mistake or are you just tying to being a dick?just trying to emulate you

Not really. I looked it up to try to help.Yes really, you're a dick everywhere to everyone at sometime or the other
Of course you're too stupid to figure out "what might be a mistake" as the obvious eludes you on a daily basis.
