Just finished installing the six dash panels, steering wheel, and the four power window trims done in a combination of tiger stripe maple and piano black and ... WOW! These are absolutely incredible looking. I purchased them from Stuart at OEMCASH.COM and have to say that the previous threads about Stuart and his products were absolutely right. Words cannot begin to explain how great these works of art look. I'll post pictures later this week but had to post this thread so more members of this great forum can take advantage of a great product, at a great price, and from an individual that truly understands the meaning of customer service. Stuart goes above and beyond to help. Give him a call (574) 830-0238. I know I'll be ordering additional items from him. :D :D :D

I agree with the statement about Stuart at OEMDASH.com! I installed the whole dash kit, as well as the sunroof control box piece and the steering wheel. I had them done in Carbon Fiber, and man it is awesome.... It is pretty sad the way Hummer sells a 60,000.00 car and doesn't do a better job by styling up the dash. The approximate 1000.00 that this upgrade cost me was WELL WORTH IT... As soon as I can get to taking the door panels and other pieces off, I will be ordering them in Carbon Fiber as well. Lent my camera to a friend for the weekend, but when it gets back on Tuesday, I will post pics for everyone to see!

The orange isnt doing it for me, it reminds me of an old pair of underpants I had. I prefer Black boxer shorts now ;)

BTW The website seems to have faults - only the main page works for me.

EDIT - just spotted the Under Construction text...spose Ill have to wait....

Thanks. I believe the carbon fibre version looks like black diamond plate. You can call Stuart at OEMDASH (574) 830-0238 or visit his website (OEMDASH.COM). When I was deciding what color combination I wanted, I spoke with him on the phone and he sent me pictures of the panels installed in an H2 in various color choices. Stuart was great to work with during the entire process! Post some pictures if you have this done to your truck.

Whats with all the product plugs? Maybe this is just AE fun time but it feels alot like roach baiting (stealth marketing). I hope this is a big joke.

I don't get it. This stuff looks terrible.

I guess maybe its "well made" in contrast to other kits but honestly, that fake wood looks awful. $1000, are you kidding?

Let's see some pictures of your interior/exterior and then decide what the definition of "TERRIBLE" is!!!!

http://glocktalk.com/images/smilies/postpics.gifI now retract these smilies and wholly regret ever participating in this thread.

I think I would shoot myself if I had to look at some of that while I drove.

If it was stealth marketing why would he show a pic of an orange interior? It clearly got a high likliehood of turning people off.

But the Carbon looks great - im really contemplating it....considering even...

Just to set the record straight the actual color of the interior panels is not orange, it's tiger stripe - which is a very light maple wood color. It looks phenomenal in real life. The only reason why I posted this thread was to simply inform other potentially interested individuals of a great product at a great price. Despite whether or not some of you like bling or you don't, I think it's sad to hear some of the disparaging comments when I thought the whole idea of this forum was to share factual information for those with a common interest. :( OEMDASH has many different color selections to choose from.

SUT NEIL
08-10-2006, 04:05 AM
Sharing factual information is obviously a big part of any forum, but not everyone needs to agree with your taste, especially when the information you share is also subjective, "These are absolutely incredible looking".

It seems to me you want to share your opinion, but don't want anyone else to offer theirs

PhilD:

I respectfully re-state that "the only reason why I posted this thread was to simply inform other potentially interested individuals of a great product at a great price." The facts are that the interior color is not orange, its maple and that the product is a great product at a great price. There are other various color selections available to meet varying tastes. Photos were provided because "this thread is worthless without pics" and we both know about variances in color comparing photos to real life. Please don't misunderstand my point, comments and opinions based on facts (good or bad) are great, but what I do object to are derogatory comments such as "Whatever. You guys suck!" :(

I'd still like to see black diamond plate or camo to match the Desert Sand exterior.

Camo would be cool. Especially if it wasn't high gloss.

I think the "you guys suck" comment was directed in jest at the fact that there were no pics posted at that point after raving about the "incredible interior transformation", at least that's how I took it.

In case you haven't figured it out by now, you have to have thick skin to survive here or stay under the radar like me. :D Most newbies get the hazing treatment at some point or another....

H2Finally
08-10-2006, 06:51 PM
Nah, it wasn't the hazing, it's the fact most here frowned on anything not black (or shades thereof), and very much lacking in S T Y L E:p

Neil, lets see pic's of that '70's TA and your SUT.

I'd love to post the requested pictures but my TA is in storage. It's a frame off resto, even every body panel was replaced with new GM factory panels except the hood, roof and deck lid. It's an original 400ci Ram Air III, Muncy
M21 4 banger, white with a blue stripe and black luxury interior. One of approximately 3,400 produced that year, PHS documented, and a national show winner - That was back in the days when I had the time and energy to show it.

I saw your Hummer and that's a great looking rig! Have fun with it and enjoy it!
