This trip rocked! No whiners, no ridiculous hold ups on the trails, fun cookouts, cold beer. H2 did excellent yet again. I broke one rear sway bar link (on the same obstacle as last time!),small dent, and needed an allignment. I towed a CJ7 there and back fully loaded with 4 175-200 pound guys and all of our stuff and made it on every trail/obstacle that I tried. What more could you ask out of one vehicle?? All this in pure luxry and on stock BFG's with 25,000 miles fully aired up.

Seriosly, No other 100% stock vehicle down to the tires could do all of the things listed above. Not even the H1 as I dont cosider its cabin luxurious. That being said my dream vehicle remains an 06 grey H1 alpha open top. There was one there that's owner was afraid to take on the trails! He rode with the other H1's. I told him to keep it nice and pretty for me so when I buy it from him in a few years, I WILL be able to get a new Alpha!!!

Thanks to Mark, Hollie, Collin, Jim, Sean, Bobby, Sinbad, drunk H1 dude (dont remember his name), Marks buddy who Cooked kick arse food (Kevin I belive??), and all others for a great trip.

There's gotta be an easier way through that forest than having to go over all those rocks....

Its a pretty ridiculos place! The only quicker way would be to fall of the edge! Actually more people die/get hurt from trying to pass each other than from rolling off of obstacles up there. It is called the rubicon of the east.

was the H3 able to make it over that on three wheels or did it have to be winched/pulled over?

Oh yeah. That looks like a rocken time!

That is my rig and the short answer is no...

I was never actually stuck but with front wheels left it lifted the front higher, and right, not enough traction on the dirt bank. They strapped me to Hollie :D and pulling the front down it came right over the top.

Surprisingly, the jeep didn't even make it that far.... :D

Just use the plastic covering on all your porn dvd's. ;):D

Magnetic sheets.- I think HummerNewbie made some for his H3 before the skins were avail.

How did I miss this thread. It was a great trip for sure. We have definitely figured out how to do Tellico. We were able to do hit more trails in a couple of hours than we did the whole first trip. Colin was once again a great trail guide.

We just got a cabin up in Murphy NC. While I was up there I found out that Tellico is right around the corner by a town called Hanging Dog. Other then get a t-shift from the Hanging Dog FD or PD, I cant wait to get out to the trails. As my fourwheeling experiance is 20 years of swamp and mud, I would prefer to go with some people who know what they are doing. Please give me a heads up if there is an Elcova group going. Thanks...:jump:

Just South of 64 with a view over looking the Hiawasee River. As for staying at the cabin, you all can stay and drink. Maybe a cook out after a day on the trail. :)
