2 weeks ago I purchased my 2006 H2 (no pics yet). I've been reading the past threads and laughing at some of the stories told. Driving today in the Baltimore area, came to a one way street where cars were parked on both sides. Nicde tight fit, i was getting the nastiest looks from an econobox driver as i slowly rolled down the street (stupidly looking for a parallel parking spot). So I finally squeeze the H2 into a spot, and start walking to my appointment when I hear a honk, look over and see 3 ass clowns giving me the finger and saying "nice truck ass h$@#". I wasn't surprised that they waited till they have an easy get away after the salute. I was totally amused, even laughed out loud. I'll be checking FUH2 to see if I get my props.

Welcome to the " You are Number 1" club. After owning my bad boy for over two years, I finally got the finger from a guy at a cross street. I laughed and told him to get it out of his system. ;)

The last guy who gave me the 1 finger salute was riding on a recumbent bicycle. I accidently veered from my lane to avoid a leaf in the road and he bailed in an alley. I see him regularly on the road and he does'nt do that anymore. I don't know why.:D
Rob, I probably would have "run" after them just to F.. with them. They'd have taken off just like they did.
No finger yet for me, but I think CP got one. Which she returned to laughs. I'm sure she'll fill you in.:D

Congrats on the FINGER!!!!:D
I don't recall SEEING anyone flip me off, but I am on FUH2, so it happened at least once ;)
It took me almost a year before I got saluted

man, its been at least a month since i last got the bird. i'm going to have to make it a point to drive through downtown during hippie-on-the-street hours or i'll go into withdrawal.
i'd worry that i'm losing my panache and becoming too boring, but i've been getting alot of the back-rapping salutes. Pickup pulls up behind you, tailgates for a while, then pulls out with pipes rappin, pulls back in real close. As far as i can tell, this never involves pickups with stock exhaust. :D

I got it from some idiot redneck in an old Ford puckup when I was pulling out of the lot after buying the truck.
Didn't really know what all the fuss was about until I found the FUH2 site later on. My Son and I got a good laugh out of it.:D

now that i got to talking about it over lunch, i wonder if the loss of some of my bling and a savage gouge in the side have coincided with the reduction of getting the finger?
Hmmmm, that would beg the debate of whether people A) react less violently to a truck that isn't as nice or B) sit down, rationally think through whether a truck with a big scratch is in fact used in its intended function, and thus not subject to their emotional outbursts, and decide to not give it the finger (;) )
or maybe C) the truck has been around town for going on a year, and people have seen it enough times to stop having a fit. If i was feeling psychological, i could offer that "they've seen this particular wolf at least 3-5 times, and it hasn't eaten them, so they've stopped freaking out when it wanders by the window"
I swear that when my half-summer semi-vacation is over and i have to work all the time i'm going to miss wasting time surfing hummer hate.
on the flip side, this truck will be responsible for the last time a carload of high school girls screams out their window at me. I'm not that young anymore, but they can't tell with the tinted windows.

Hey Rob,
Get used to it, especially in the city. There's alot of fkrs like that here in MD.
I get it more from Jeepers than the tree huggers though.
Welcome to the club!
Where'd you buy? Anderson?
