Seeing much information on configurations for wiring switch and lights. Is the switch for lower light factory panel avialable. If so where is the pin/wire pick up for that?
If someone is satisfied with what they have done and wants to share. Input is welcomed.

I got the lower grill lights and love them. Switch, relay, wiring, and connectors all included with the kit.
Install switch in dash, run wire from switch and connect to a couple of wires over the parking brake pedal. Ground is picked up under dash on the right side.
Remove bumper install lights. Run wire from fuse relay box (this is the hardest part) to included relay and attach wires to some wires located in left side of fender well located next to relay box.
I payed $295. Jerry Seiner in Salt Lake didn't even up the price.

So it sounds like the switch from the panel is a regular 2 pin on/off. Is the feature of the switch that makes it unique that it fits the hole in the dashboard panel?
Reason asked is I thought there was some prewire behind that panel and the GM switch had some magical quality for its price tag.
If not any switch could go in there and do the trick if it kind of fits the hole and has 2 contacts.

The switch has 3 pins, but one is for the power light inside the switch. There are no wires in place behind the panel for the switch. The wire harness and switch comes with the kit. What you do have are several wires that are already run through the firewall that you can splice into to get from any switch you use in the panel. Several have used Radio Shack switches.

For the installation instructions of the Hummer kit and a picture of the factory switch, see this thread.

What about the grill, do you need to get one that has cut outs for the lights,or does it come with the kit?

The grill comes with the kit with the lights mounted in it. Everything you need is included in the kit. All you have to do is remove the bumper to install the new grill, run some wires, Install switch (easy), strip some wires, crimp connectors, mount relay (easy), Connect wires inside fuse/relay panel. Instructions are very good and walk you through it.
