I went through the same thing here about 3 months ago. Lowe's, Home Depot, hardware stores didn't have 'em. Finally went to the Yellow Pages and found a local---STOREROOM FASTENERS---that had them in stock. They really do look a helluva lot better than the cheap chrome ones they scar up at the factory. I think the whole deal cost 2 or 3 bucks.

I'm thinking about checking out my Harley dealer.
They sell chrome and (I think) black allen bolt head covers that clip over the screw heads.
Just an idea.

Allthough Harleys are not metric. The VROD is and most Harley shops carry chrome bolts for those. i know we do

With bolt head covers the difference would not matter.;)
