What's wrong with this picture?Hey, look! We're there wheeling the Denali;)
I missed you guys!
But I did meet some new friends and had an absolute blast for the last two days! The weather was beautiful! (A little hot for me, but no one else minded)
Here's a few pics I took standing on the ledge on Hells Revenge looking over at Lions Back.
I'll post a few, and then I have to leave...:(
ONE OF THESE DAYS I'M GOING TO ACTUALLY GO UP HELLS GATE! ;)
This pic is NeoCon1 coming down Lions Back.
This is the perfect spot to take pics from. I got some great shots!:)

They're closing Lions Back this Fall.:( Developers have bought the land below it and they are putting in a really special little neighborhood at the bottom. yay:(
This is Neo at the bottom. I'm glad I didn't fall off the edge and land on the smashed 'yota while I was taking these!
Here's another cool angle...

Those are fantastic pictures!!! I love the pictures of LB from that angle. That would be great for video.
That blows about it getting closed for developers.:( I wonder if they'd sell it? Any idea what the price was?

That blows about it getting closed for developers. I wonder if they'd sell it? Any idea what the price was?My secret source ;) tells me that the same guys that own the Gonzo bought the property and will put in a housing development. Apparently the city of Moab is not that sorry to see it go, because of the liability of people killing themselves on it.(or rather, at the bottom of it:eek: ) Even the fellow driving the Hummer tour rig that stopped while I was filming said it was closing in either September or October. So there you have all the gossip that I have about Lions Back. Two separate sources with the same story.
I had a really super fancy video camera someone gave me to get video with, but it wouldn't work when I got up there. It would have been the best because you could zoom in on the suspension and tires of the rigs as they went up. I'll post more fun angles a little later, gotta go play with the kids...:) they missed me!
