For those of you with the light bar; how are the lights on the new limited edition light bar? Are they any good? I think I read somewhere that they are KCLights?

Are you talking about the roof light bar? If they're anything like the ones on mine, they're useless.

Doc, I would go with a low pro Gobi rack with PIAA1500XT's/ It's like daytime when you turn them on when it's dark out. If you're not wanting to go with a rack, you may consider one of the XTC light bars.

Thanks for the input, and yeah, that's the light bar I was asking about in the pics. I was thinking about getting some Hella's and mounting them to an oem crossrail. My original plan was for the XTC's, but I don't want to appear as if I'm trying to be like Dennis :) Are the Hella's any good? In the end, will probably go with the XTC, but gotta explore the options.. :)

The factory light bar is barely usable. I upgraded the bulbs and it's still just meh. About the only thing it's good for is catching the reflection of bunny eyes at night.:D

Delta 10x light bar is awesome and will light up way beyond your headlights! Plus, it uses the stock bar. I saw one for $900 in the classified section where a dealer is selling off some of their inventory.

I love my 1500XTs. I don't use them a whole lot. But they were great when we were towing rigs off Golden Spike at midnight.

For spotlighting varmints it's ok. Night wheeling it's ok. I always prefer more light though.

I'm thinking of Hella 450's or 550's. Anybody have experience with those? Any good?

I like the 550's. I have heard that the 450's create alot of glare on the hood, but this was for an H1. I dont know how they would work on the H2. Regardless, I have been really happy with Hella and would reccomend them to anyone.

I have the XTC light bar. Looks, and works, great. It's now 4 years old and still shinning. :excited:

I have them on my LUX 2006 and I love them - they do light up the hood which I think is great from the outside and inside. I am in Costa Rica - lots of fog and it does help big time.
