Shorty's in Miami (actually Kendall). Best ribs, beef, chicken, and corn on the cob. Wish we had one in S. CA. :crying: Hmmm .. and Luther's in Houston isn't bad either.

Sticky Fingers if in Chattanooga, TN when spending time at the Choo-Choo.:D

I like the BBQ Grill and Beach Bully in Virginia Beach.

I like it pulled not chopped, with corn fritters (soft hush puppie like balls with bits of corn fried) and potato salad (mustard celery and spring onions).

Dammit Drty- I want some now.:twak:

Unfortunately all my favorite BBQ places are 1,200 miles away in KC where they know how to do real BBQ

There used to be a place near here that had great BBQ brisket but they closed down. Once the weather cools down some it will be time to crank up the smoker again :beerchug:

If you are ever out this way let me know. I know a guy that just started a business cooking at carnivals, fairs, etc... It was the only type of "business" he could start without having to get a health inspections, cause he already has a well paying job a full on resturant is not in his immeadiate future. However, he cooks some bad ass BBQ, and as he puts it he's from GA, and they know how to BBQ down there. I just saw his new smoker a couple of weeks ago, first smoker I have ever seen with a granite prep top.

Dreamland BBQ in Tuscaloosa, Al. Best EVAH!:beerchug:We ate there Friday Nite on the way to Gray Rock to Wheel. I'm not a big rib fan, unlike CO, but it was really good. I think it is so funny all they have is ribs, sauce, and white bread. And Beer. :beerchug:

KC Masterpiece? I use their sauce but never really went to their restaurant much. It's good but there are far better in town. I think maybe I saw that show a while back. Damn, now I hungry for some good BBQ, may have to call in a FedEx order :beerchug:

KC Masterpiece isn't all that great. Newbie posted a great list and I'd have to say Arthur Bryant's is the best around here. The only people that eat there are white which means crappy BBQ.

Hey Marc, where do you hear this as you walk through the front door?

"May I hep you!" :D

Don't know about now but used to be the place was known for it.
Yeah, KC Masterpiece isn't all that great, only went there once or twice. I do use their sauces down here since that is about the best I can get but I usually add to it.
