IPOD Interface for Stock NAV System

Does anyone know of a good Ipod interface that works with the standard NAV system? I picked one up at Bestbuy, and it worked but didnt show the name of the song playing or the song list. I was told them some go through the XM Interface, and will display song names, and playlists. Does anyone know what kind this is? Or have any recomendations? Im trying to avoid swapping out the stock unit.
