I am driving home from a nice day out with my Wife and Son, and this guy driving his wifes ride obviously has to speed up to get in front of me to show me his sign...
My passengers are sleeping and this guy is flipping me off in front of his kid who is sitting in the back seat. I am no saint and do return the gesture but not where my Son can see me....
If anyone sees this guy driving around North Dallas area please wave and show him a nice Hummer "How 'dya do"

I'm relatively new here, but it's obvious the H2 haters are ignorant buffoons. I was thinking about this the other day, has anyone posted a link to a comparison of the H2 to other vehicles in terms of fuel economy, emissions, etc? Clearly there are many vehicles on the road that get worse gas mileage... and the idiots don't flip them off. While this wouldn't do much driving down the road, it might be intersting to have some facts available when confronted in person by a Gore-lover.

We can't let other vehicle drivers steal our fun. I have an H3 and have only seen a couple negative people, but still I really enjoy the fact that I can piss people off just by driving by them. Plus, once someone flips you off... you no longer have to treat them like most of the other drivers on the road...you can scare them, take whatever anger you have out on them, laugh or just try to confuse them!

How many times are you justified backing up at a stop light until the guy behind you moves because he knows he is going to eat your trailer hitch? Never, unless they flipped you off. :dancingbanana:

On the way home from wheelin on Sat, I had a guy in a Z71 cut me off and than continue to speed up/ slow down so I couldn't change lanes (this is on I25/ a major highway). Since it was night time and the guy on the other side of me driving a Tahoe (I was in the middle lane) was giving me the "what the hell is that guy's problem" gesture, he moved back to let me pass on the right. So I did and the jackass on my left speeds up and cuts over two lanes to get in front of me again and nails his breaks. I flipped on ALL of the PIAA lights and totally lit up the inside of his truck. So, he slowed down to 35mph. It's 65 for the speed limit. So the guy in the Tahoe boxes him in, I'm laughing my ass off at this point. So I go around and this punk ass kid is flipping me off wanting to kick my ass. I'm next to him now pointing and laughing and he's getting more pissed. This went on for about 10 miles. the Tahoe and I had him boxed in and soooo pissed him off. That'll teach him. So if that guy in the Tahoe reads this, thanks. It is really funny about other people giving us the number one vote , when we drive buy them. I just got my h2 aug10 flew into mami to pick it up and drove it back to cal after putting on over 6500 miles going seeing people we new The fun we had of people looking at us and as soon as we looked at them they quickly turn there heads away like we had the plague!! Let one guy and his girl in a new mustang cobra in on a on ramp slow down to let him in even trying to be nice !! The :twak: guy goes about five-hundred feet to the next off ramp and votes me number one!:beerchug:

i think the H2 hate in general is a case study in the follow-the-leader nature of people.

And ultimately the fact that singling out the H2 really isn't justifiable, and the "tahoe" insults lacking basically any water, and so on, will lead to hummer hate falling apart.

And used H2s will hit the streets in decent numbers soon, letting alot of former haters buy one and ... and then things will change even more. That's starting around here, i think, as i've seen more H2s on the road in the last 2 months than ever before. Used to be an H2 was nearly as rare a sight as an H1, but last night i saw 3 while out on a sunday drive with the lad and the lady...

I don't see many haters around any more. the majority of guff i get is from the UAW guys at work who are pissed because I haven't stuffed myself into a car or truck I can't drive comfortablly. this one guy in perticular is a real dickweed, he screams and yells about anything and I just point and laugh.

The NW is great once you're outside the downtown areas of Portland or Seattle. I think the close quarters is a breeding ground for irrationality, narrow-mindedness and hate.
