I recently purchased and mounted an additional OEM roofrack crossbar on the top of my H2 SUT so now I have a total of three on the roof. Now I want to add some nice street legal lights to the front of it and need some help.

Does anyone know where I can purchase driving or fog lights that can be mounted to a factory roofrack crossbar that:

* Mount flush to the front of the crossbar - similar to the Delta 10x light bar
* Are small & rectangular in shape - similar to the Delta 10x lights
* Are legal to use on the street in most states

Also need to know where I could purchase the light mounting brackets, wire harnesses, relays, and switches needed to make a good, clean, attractive installation.

Additionally, the preowned crossbars that I purchased do not have any keys and my local Hummer dealer suggested a locksmith  ? Does anyone know where I can purchase the correct key based on the # etched in the front of the crossbar keyhole chrome bezel? Once I get the key made I'll have one extra silver colored OEM H2 crossbar with a key for sale.

Any help and/or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! :excited: :excited: :excited:

Neil,
How about one of the light bars off a limited edition?
Although the lights are not too much in stock form.
Someone mentioned changing out the bulbs for more output.

you mentioned stret legal lights. As far as i know, any lights above the front bumper (esp. ones on the roof) are not legal to have on while driving on the road. In PA I thought you even had to have covers on them while on the road too.

As far as light thgough, you can try Delta or PIAA. PIAA has some 1500XT's that would work. Delta has some too and are cheaper in price. Delta make lights for GM.

Neil, you can do the DRL mod that lots of people here have done. There is a thread how to do it and is real easy. This way they will work at night and be legal. You then can change the bulbs to yellow if you want.

Keep all 3 roof racks! If you ever add anything to the roof, you will need two without lights on them and towards the rear.

Legal lights must be on front lower part of bumper.

It will probably be easier to add current lights to a 10x bar, if that's what you are looking for. I think the Roof rack lights you have now, the DRL mod done, and maybe some grill guard lights should be plenty. You can having wiring guy make grill guard lights work with switch and also come on when high beams are on.

Not sure about PA, but in New York, any lights above the regular headlights must be covered unless off-road.
