FYI BFG has listed a new replacment size that fits stock H3. Says available 3Q this year, so here we are.
LT285/75R16E. Also LT265/75R16E. My interest was in the "E" load rate so I could run higher pressure and I am BFG customer for all my wheels.

Why do u need E rated tires on an H3?
The heavier tire won't flex as well as the c or d rated tires and the ride will be harder.
the weight rating would be close to 3500#/wheel.
I don't even use them on my Dmax and tow 15,000 trailers quite a bit.

Out here though, it takes >2 hours to get any dirt, even at 80 MPH. We have cactus that'll cut sidewalls. I've used "E" rated BFGs on my Burb with great success as an all around tire with that huge range of pressure available. And I can air-up and down anywhere, anytime. I use an infrared thermometer to set pressure to get even wear accross the face of the tire.
