I've noticed that people here keep talking about getting the latest downloads. For instance if your radio auto adjust isn't working or if your air ride system pump is cycling too much. Basically any goofy electrical problem you guys say to get the latest down load. So, what is it and do you have to get 10 different downloads for 10 different problems or will the dealer just put 1 download in to cure all these goofy problems? My truck being an '03 should I go get this download just because it's the latest program for this vehicle? Thanks for any info.

Dealer Program updates....Puter Chit!...For the Computer controlled, monitored, and adjusted H2! :)

No different than the one your typing on needing updates! ;)

If youv've had it in the shop, they do it automatically!

Dealer will only do it if asked, or if there is a problem that the software corrects. For example, if you go to the dealer for a suspension problem, and they replace a part, they may not look to see if your PCM/BCM is up to date with the latest calibration.
By law, a manufacturer cannot say that every H2 that comes through the door of a dealership has to be reprogrammed; the minute a manufacturer says that, it is considered a campaign. However, a manufacturer can issue a bulletin that states if the vehicle exhibits this problem....reprogram to the latest PCM calibration.
In regard to the calibration, they are cumlative. Example, version 1.1 fixed one problem, 1.2 fixed another, then you have 1.3 added, the latest version 1.3 will also include the fixes from 1.1 and 1.2.

I'm assuming you can't just go in and have it updated without a cost?
