Or in high position.
Not going to get damaged by offroading or water forging.:D
Beach permit is visable this way.
Should I go for looks or function.

The one with it in the normal spot. But I think you should remove the sticker and just put no front plate on. Keep it in the truck and if you ever get pulled over say one of the screws just broke off.

If I remove the sticker I cant go on the beach, they check as you go by the ranger.
In NY its a $50.00 fine and $30.00 surcharge

wow, you need a sticker in NY to go to the beach!? Is thaqt because of parking or too many people or what? Oh and as to your question, i like it better in the normal position, but it doesnt look bad in the high position either.

Its because they charge you $75.00 a year for access.
You also nead a suffolk county green card $20.00 for 3 years with your picture on it.
What sucks is the beach ( I go to smiths point)has been closed for a couple weeks.

Maybe just the sticker. Pic from the beach
Paint the licence plat plastic clips black.
If I get a ticket and its put back on whithin 24 hours they disregard the tiket. HMmmm.

They don't let you keep the sticker in the glove box and just show it when you pass the ranger? I've never liked stickers on vehicles, especially those barcode ones on the b-pillars!

They have to be on the front bumper.
The only flat part it fit was under the licence plate.
I seen a H3 at the beach and he had his sticker semi sideways on the plastic piece in the front bending around the angle. :lame: :giggling: :twak:

I like the first one, can you just take it off when you go offroading?

Same here. I don't really care how it looks and I'm too lazy to take it off every time I go wheeling.

HEY!!!! Im on long Island TOO! My beach permit is on the left lower corner of the bumper. Just below the fog light. And its not sideways. I think this looked best. Its also fallen off when offroading and they charge 15 bucks for another one. I was wondering. Does your truck get really hot when you go to the beach??? I drive on smith point to the inlet and my truck almost overheats from just driving on the sand. I also think the TCS works against you sometimes.

Hmm. Gotta say that I like the look of the normal position, but I am all about function. Higher mount is much more functional. So I'd go with that. :)

Wouldn't the high mount restrict air flow in hot weather? Possible high temp condition:grouphug: s.

Never got hot on the beach ,I also go all the way to the inlet and sometimes run it hard,no problems with overheating. list pic of were you put your sticker.
